One of The JDC mechanics took our group of four into the garage and spent an hour explaining the intricacies of the 962...it was an amazing, insightful experience that really made the weekend. Thanks, Jeremy! Oh, I'm pretty sure that Le Mans in on Motor Trend TV.
May 29May 29 What a horrible racetrack. It definitely doesn't deserve to be on the F1 schedule every year. Parking lot races in Miami are much better. Edited May 29May 29 by utee94

June 12Jun 12 Seems as though the IMSA team is taking cues from the Indy folks. The No. 6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 has been disqualified from Wednesday evening's Le Mans 24 Hours qualifying session for failing to meet the minimum weight in post-qualifying technical inspection. https://racer.com/2025/06/11/no-6-penske-porsche-disqualified-from-le-mans-qualifying-for-weight-infraction ETA: I have been a Penske fan going all the way back to Rick Mears but JFC, this is beyond stupid. June 14Jun 14 Does anyone know whether Andrew Marriott will do a late night walk through all the drunks this year? Or is he no longer part of the broadcast team? I can't find a full list of the commentators and reporters, nor can I figure out what Marriott is up to right now. I sort of assume he's not, but would love to be wrong. June 15Jun 15 Author feels like ACO missed on the BOP. maybe the 499P is just easier (for lack of a better word) to drive to 3:27 around le mans than everything else and so is much closer to the mythical perfect lap. but winning 3 times in a row with 3 cars in the top 4 seems unlikely if BOP is right. the 6 drove a penalty and trouble free race for 24 hours to get there (and ferrari pitted the 83 for fresh tires on its last stop, making it closer than needed). cadillac needs to take a smidge of downforce off the car. being fast in the place where it's relatively difficult to pass isn't as good as being fast in the place it's relatively easy to pass.
