Anyone have good/bad experience with a health share plan? I'm looking to sign the family up for one, but not finding any decent spots that compare or offer reviews. Any suggestions? I'm happy to be in a faith based share, but not required.

A friend of mine has Samaritan Miniatures. He’s self employed, has a large family, and found it was much cheaper than private/market place. You do have to get your pastor to sign something attesting you are an active member of their church.

Good question. I'm a small biz owner & couldn't easily afford standard insurance. I went with UHSM & am OK, so far. Benn using it for about 4 years. It isn't insurance & that can cause questions when using, but it's pretty much the same. ID card, mine uses PHCS for the "insurance" part.

I have a high deductible. You don't have to. You do have to agree to a Christian lifestyle when enrolling. You don't have to prove anything. But, I imagine that if you had to see a Doc for something that would be considered "against the oath" then you might not be covered & kicked out. I don't know that to be a fact. For my wife & I, we pay $685/mo

What are you gonna do when they deny treatment and tell you to pray? God's will and all that. Oh yeah, by the way you still owe us for somebody else's treatment.
