Crazy amount of talent in that sketch.

And the non-comedian, Sting, did a better Billy Idol than Billy Idol.

Damn….RIP Peewee. As a kid growing up in San Antonio, I always appreciated it when SA was represented in pop culture. I also knew there wasn’t a basement in the Alamo.

I was just playing "Tequila" on my guitar yesterday.

Damn. Rest in peace,

Paul Reubens - the only man in Hollywood canceled for touching himself, not someone else.

ETA - I need to start doing a secret word of the day at work.  My boss will love it.

On the rare instances when someone specifically references an Adobe program at work, I will often loudly and slowly ask everyone within earshot and nobody in particular, "CAN YOU SAY 'AH-DOH-BEE?'  AHHH-DOHHH-BEEEE."

Only a few people seem to understand the reference, but it hasn't stopped me yet.

His dad was pretty amazing as well

Quote

was a pilot who flew for the Royal Air Force and U.S. Army during World War II, later becoming one of the five founding pilots of the Israeli Air Force in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. It is widely believed that Rubenfeld, the other four volunteer pilots, and the other machalniks changed the course of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. He was injured and returned to the United States, and settled in New York state, where he married and owned a local business with his wife, Judy.

Quote

As noted, the actions of Rubenfeld and the other four initial pilots had a profound effect on the conduct of the war. The enemy was evidently so surprised by the presence of the little air force, that they stopped their advance toward Tel Aviv, Israel, which bought time for the rest of Israel's forces (which had a large contingent of foreign fighters, or machalniks) to become better organized.

In addition, Milt Rubenfeld's mission had an immediate benefit for the moshavniks of Kfar Vitkin, Israel. They were able to salvage and mount the guns from Rubenfeld's downed fighter, which they used for their defense.

Not a celebrity, but Sandra Bullock's partner just passed from ALS.  Seems like they were very private.  He was a photographer.

I wouldn't wish that illness on anybody.

Robbie Robertson

Such sad news about Robbie Robertson - he was a lovely man, a great friend and will be dearly missed xx RPhotographs from The Last Waltz
Robbie Robertson was a brilliant songwriter, guitarist, and composer whose gifts changed music forever. I’m grateful for all the good memories he gave me
RIP Robbie Robertson. A good friend and a genius. The Band’s music shocked the excess out of the Renaissance and were an essential part of the final back-to-the-roots trend of ‘60s. He was an underrated brilliant guitar player adding greatly to Bob Dylan’s best tour & best album.
Totally devastated and shocked at his passing. He was a great musician who inspired many of our generation. #robbierobertsonrip https://t.co/67tRu4GRxP
Rest in peace Robbie Robertson, legendary lead guitarist of The Band, fellow Canadian, and cherished collaborator of Joni's. May his legacy and musical harmony resonate for generations to come.Photo from the Michael Ochs Archives

Wasn’t he kinda rapey at the office in a Matt Lauer sort of way?

No, he was Bob fucking Barker. Pay your respects.

I cannot believe Bob Barker lived as close to 100 as possible without going over.
