January 2, 20232 yr Good that State didn’t let them score there after giving up those big plays. Cool! Win it for the Pirate!
January 2, 20232 yr I liked Leach as much as the next person, but fuck Mississippi State fans and their goddamn cowbells in the goatass.
January 2, 20232 yr Drew Brees helping Purdue get ready for their bowl game is just damn awesome UT reallllllllllly missed the boat on that one
January 2, 20232 yr Author Bert is going after that last 2 seconds like someone told him the buffet was closing 5 minutes early

Go State! Really, really freaking annoying that the RB wasn’t yesterday. Waking up late, watching the parade, and then the game is part of NY.

January 2, 20232 yr I really don’t want to watch the Purdue backup QB try to learn how to play the position in a bowl game
January 2, 20232 yr Where’s the call on the chop block on left side of line on USC in the long pass??
January 2, 20232 yr That must be really nice for Caleb to throw a ball to a WR and actually catch it.
January 2, 20232 yr Indisputable on this Miss St TD. And there's the right call. Pirates looking to tie it early 4th.

January 2, 20232 yr Indisputable my ass. They didn’t say the call was confirmed. They said it stands. Looked pretty clearly oob to me despite how hard the announcers were trying to see it inbounds. Call it the Mike Leach Memorial Touchdown Call.
January 2, 20232 yr Is it me or is Beilema significantly fatter than he already was? He’s approaching Mangino level, if he’s not already there.

January 2, 20232 yr Haven’t been focusing on the Citrus. Looks like Nuss has been in the 2Q. Something happen to Daniels?

January 2, 20232 yr I get the hate for Jackie Sherrill on a Texas website but, I always liked him when he was at Pitt. If our administration hadn’t been so incompetent he would not have left for AggieLand. All he wanted was control of the football program, like GodPa had up at Crappy Valley. He had us absolutely rolling. And we fucked it up but good. Jackie recruited my cousin Louie, so I like him for that. And one time, when I was working on a story, I called Sherrill at his Mississippi State office, fully expecting a secretary to answer the phone and make it difficult to get him but, he actually answered the phone himself. It was a good interview, too. He also helped Pitt recruit Tony Dorsett. He even brought his mom with him once to bring one of her homemade rhubarb pies to Mrs. Dorsett, and the rest is history. Here we go, State with a short kick for the win.
January 2, 20232 yr That ending was too funny. But that last lateral looked like it might have been an illegal forward pass.
January 2, 20232 yr Just now, LonghornSean said: What was the spread? Sounds like a question for South Austin’s mom.

January 2, 20232 yr Quick question for you degenerates... I thought I understood how a money line bet works; however, this game (Miss St/Illini) doesn't make any sense According to what I'm seeing, Miss St is -950; Illini is +525. The point spread was Illini by 1.5. I always thought games with close lines would also have close money lines. Why would anyone bet $950 to only win $100 in a near pick 'em game?

January 2, 20232 yr Purdue looks like they belong in G5. And they played for their conference championship.

Were you looking at a live line prior to the field goal? That could have been the case. The line before the game was MSSt by 3.5. That would usually make them a ML favorite of around -130 to -140. Illinois would have been +150 or so. Edited January 2, 20232 yr by Trey3216

January 2, 20232 yr Looked like pre-kick, Caesars had Miss St -3.5. Moneyline was Miss St -189, Ill +158. https://www.covers.com/sport/football/ncaaf/linemovement/msst-at-ill/280627
