Trump commutes Santos' sentence.

He said it was because Santos had the good sense to vote Republican. Seriously.

More likely because pieces of shit tend to stick with one another.

Game recognizes game.

Friday night dump before the rallies tomorrow, very smooth.

The president of 49% of the population.

This put me over the edge. I’ll post my response in the resistance thread.

Even after 10 years of Trump, seeing him pardon someone with the explanation that he did it because he's a republican, is still a bucket of cold water to the face.

I mean, let's be honest, this kind of shit has been done before.  Just nobody has ever been such an assface as actually to throw said cold water in your face.

Oh yeah, it's not in the top million worst things he's ever done. It's just the sheer audacity, like he's at a point where he doesn't feel like he even needs a plausible explanation. That's the scary part, because he apparently doesn't.

The only reason to do it is to show the world the extent of his power.

a similar thing was done in Los Angeles last night by ohtani.

It’s also safe to assume that Trump doesn’t believe that fraud crimes are real crimes. It’s just one side not doing their due diligence. Why should that be a crime?

The other annoying part is that Santos had a $400k penalty to his victims. Unless he already paid (highly unlikely) the restitution penalty is also removed.

That 400k got paid.  Just not to the victims.

Party of "personal responsibility"

A felonious fraudster released a felonious fraudster from prison. No big deal because they’re both “Republicans.”

If Biden did it, Trump would be yelling about how Biden let a Brazilian drag queen out of prison who is now on his way to molest your children.

I made it through 3 minutes. He mentioned Biden half a dozen times. Dude suffers from BDS.

More like “I can’t afford to live in NYC and I’m too recognizable to get any sort of grift at this time”

If Santos wants to become President, he should declare bankruptcy multiple times and get a reality TV show where he pretends to be a successful businessman.
