We just bought a new house and so I'd like to begin the process of converting it to a smart home. The issue I am having is that there are so many options out there and doesn't seem to be a clear front runner in # of products or innovation.

We have an Echo and Alexa, so part of me wants to just go with products that she can control. We are also highly invested in Sonos and right now Google doesn't have the integration.

So what is everyone using?

I'm just starting my journey into converting my home into a smart home. I use Harmony Hub and Ecobee to control my media center and thermostat. Was pretty easy to integrate them with my Echo. Ecobee has Alexa built in.

Now I can walk in and tell Alexa to turn on one of my favorite channels and it'll do it while setting the room temp to what I want.

Next up will be lights and wall plugs.
