December 23, 20223 yr Jaguars at Jets (-2.5, 36.5) in some shitty weather. And then a bunch of games on Saturday.
December 23, 20223 yr Some brutal passes by Wilson tonight, but that duck on 2nd down is an awful sign. Plenty of time to unleash the dragon and he throws a duck.

December 23, 20223 yr I thought Mahomes would suck in the NFL so I don’t know shit but Wilson seemed to be the most obvious bust in a long time.
December 23, 20223 yr Wilson was always a paper tiger bitch and a perfect fit for the Jets. He doesn’t even bother to be failfully entertaining like Baker. Sad.
December 23, 20223 yr NFL moving Sunday Ticket from DirecTV to YouTubeTV Thirty years ago, DirecTV used the NFL to get satellite dishes on every home and in every sports bar. Now Google will use pro football to get YouTube TV in those same spaces. ZACH BARNETT DEC 22, 2022 The NFL's Sunday Ticket package has been on DirecTV since its invention in 1994, but starting in 2023 it will move to Google's YouTube properties, the NFL announced Thursday. "YouTube has long been a home for football fans, whether they're streaming live games, keeping up with their home team, or watching the best plays in highlights," said Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube. "Through this expanded partnership with the NFL, viewers will now also be able to experience the game they love in compelling and innovative ways through YouTube TV or YouTube Primetime Channels. We're excited to continue our work with the NFL to make YouTube a great place for sports lovers everywhere." The NFL signaled long ago it was looking to move from satellite to streaming, with YouTube TV, Apple TV+, Disney (ESPN+) and Amazon Prime as the primary bidders. Apple was expected to win the bidding until it was reported that the iPhone maker would not charge consumers enough for the right to stream out-of-market NFL games. After Apple dropped out, Amazon -- owner of the NFL's Thursday night package -- re-engaged late, but Google won the bidding. The package will cost a reported $2.5 billion per year. "We're excited to bring NFL Sunday Ticket to YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels and usher in a new era of how fans across the United States watch and follow the NFL," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. "For a number of years we have been focused on increased digital distribution of our games and this partnership is yet another example of us looking towards the future and building the next generation of NFL fans." Sunday Ticket will be available as an add-on to existing YouTube TV subscribers and as a standalone product through YouTube Premium. Google has moved into the sports space in recent years, serving as the presenting sponsor of the NBA Finals since 2018. Adding Sunday Ticket will allow YouTube "creators" to appear at select NFL events. More importantly, Google landing the Sunday Ticket is another example of how the TV industry uses NFL rights as a necessary asset to survival. The Fox network bought legitimacy through the NFC package. DirecTV used the NFL to get its dishes on the rooftops of John and Jane Q. TV Viewer, and now Google will use the same strategy to get consumers to ditch their satellite dishes and their cable set-top boxes. "As the ways fans enjoy NFL football evolve in a changing media landscape, partnerships with innovators like YouTube will ensure that more games are available to more fans, said Patriots owner Robert Kraft. "This partnership will grow our game for future generations and allow them to follow their favorite sport." https://footballscoop.com/news/nfl-moving-sunday-ticket-from-directv-to-youtubetv
December 23, 20223 yr Without a team to root for I’ll probably just stick to red zone. I have zero interest in Sunday ticket. I live in the DFW so I get all the Cowboys games. Sunday night and MNF I already get. Have prime so I get the TNF games. And the league already gives you other games at both time slots on Sunday. This is enough for me. Never got the appeal.
December 23, 20223 yr Author Smart dude, former Cowboy. Quote New York Jets wide receiver coach Miles Austin is being suspended for at least one year for violating the NFL's gambling policy, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Rich Cimini on Friday. The length of the suspension is pending an appeal, a source told ESPN. The NFL has been investigating Austin for a while, a source told ESPN, after it found out that he had been gambling on sports -- not on NFL games or college football -- which violates NFL personnel gambling policy. In addition, Austin also had been making online bets while at the team's facility, which is also against NFL rules. The league had tracked his gambling activity on a website, a source told ESPN.

December 23, 20223 yr 3 games on Christmas day featuring 1 team above .500. Good job, good effort NFL.

I know they wanted it to celebrate the Immaculate Reception but, Christmas Eve is a terrible night for a game. Christmas Day is dumb too. It’s going to be wicked cold tomorrow night at the Steelers game.

Another cowboy with a couple breakout games which turned into a big contract. After which he didn’t do shit. I think he dated Kim Khardashian for a bit.

I think he dated Kim Khardashian for a bit.Fuck him for losing that ball in the lights against the Giants in 2011 on SNF. I can't believe that spare rose to Dallas #2 WR in those years. Romo made him what he was as well as Laurent Robinson. Both cashed in.
December 24, 20223 yr The NFL should have moved the Bears game to Fotd Field, stupid to open an outdoor stadium in this weather. Putting players, fans, stadium workers, and security in danger; let alone screwing up road cleaning with heavy traffic. But that would give Buffalo the home field advantage.

December 24, 20223 yr I didn't think you could fumble the ball forward, i thought it would come back to the spot of the fumble.
December 24, 20223 yr Silly for Cincy to challenge that. The ball was moving in the direction of his pass, so they were gonna rule that a pass attempt, period.
