December 23, 20223 yr Any big time movies you’ve never gotten around to watching, or refuse to watch for some reason? I’ve never seen Titanic, Pretty Woman, or The Notebook to name a few. No real reason why, other than I know how the Titanic winds up, I don’t like Julia Roberts and just never got around to The Notebook.
December 23, 20223 yr I’ve never seen any Lord of the Rings movies or Avatar. I didn’t see the original Jurassic Park until last year. Edited December 23, 20223 yr by 4th&Five

December 24, 20223 yr I've also never seen The Notebook, if that qualifies. Never seen any of the Fast and Furious or Expendables movies. Never saw any of the Conan movies. I think I may have watched the first Transformers movie but not sure.

Fucking awesome movie.
December 24, 20223 yr The Godfather (all 3) Caddy Shack I did scratch Roadhouse off the list last week.
December 24, 20223 yr The Godfather (all 3) Caddy Shack I did scratch Roadhouse off the list last week. Holy shit.
December 24, 20223 yr Im guessing that if you have not seen Potter, LOR or Titanic. You utilize your free time doing other things. No way that one who enjoys the cinema has not seen those movies

December 24, 20223 yr I also haven’t watched any Godfather movie start to finish. Seen parts here and there. Don’t like the genre in general. I get why people like them, but not my cup of tea.

December 24, 20223 yr Best picture winners I’ve never seen: Shape of Water, 12 Years a Slave, Nomadland, Green Book, BirdMan, Million Dollar Baby, Argo, Slumdog Millionaire, Shakespeare in Love. Others going back further, but anything there really something I should see?
December 24, 20223 yr ive never seen: any star wars movie any comic book/dc/marvel movie save deadpool any indiana jones movie any LOTR movie any James Bond movie avatar many, many more. i saw shawshank for the first time like a month ago. i saw heat for the first time less than 24 hours ago. i guess i'm just generally not that into "blockbuster" movies.

December 24, 20223 yr The entire LOTR series, but I did watch the 1978 Ralph Bakshi animated version when it was in theaters and loved it. Harry Potter series Jurassic Park sequels Transformers sequels The Notebook (wtf is that?)

December 24, 20223 yr Does Christmas Vacation count as a blockbuster? I loved the first one but never watched the Christmas one. My wife bitches at me that I’ve never seen the Sound of Music but it doesn’t interest me so why waste my time.

Million Dollar Baby Birdman is more artistic in nature so the audience that would appreciate it is limited. Same with Shape of Water. But those 3 are legit very good movies. December 24, 20223 yr I was pretty young when Titanic came out so never saw it. I don't like fantasy genre with knomes and elves and hobbits and wizards so LOTR and Harry Potter were instantly out.
December 24, 20223 yr Green Book I remember it was around this time of year when it came out. I was dragged to it by my wife, sister in law, and mother in law and was in a horrible mood that day. I wanted to be anywhere but that theater when we got there and knew nothing about the movie. Then saw the movie and it completely changed my mood.
December 24, 20223 yr I loved Green Book and the protagonist letting his musical hair down at the juke joint after leaving the snobs at the country club. What a fine odyssey for an odd couple to find common ground.

Both were average. Not bad but definitely not great. Pretty Woman is on my list to watch as well.
