Mitchell may be one and done, or not, but he’s going to have to learn how to stay in front of people.

Well that's because Bishop was only 8 years old at the time

He leaves a lot to be desired defensively.

And offensively.  He's not a great shooter.

I can live with his offensive game. He’s explosive around the rim, is a good passer and has pretty good feel. He’s been pretty bad on defense compared to what I expected. He’ll probably still go pro because the NBA seems to be all about potential nowadays.

So this Kalen Williams guy must have played with Rice at NMSU.  He seems better than a Southland level player.

Oh, no doubt in my mind he's gone.  But I think he's a guy that would benefit from another year.

KD was ready to make the jump...Mitchell isn't, IMO

I think this is far and away my favorite longhorn bball team ever. They play together so well. Everyone is capable of scoring and they are so unselfish.

cmon Carr!  Get it!

Yeah we have had trouble keeping their guards out of the paint.

and they absolutely can’t handle ours.

Teams are going to be concerned with the shooting.

Defense they won't care about because he's super athletic with good size and you can teach guys like that how to play team defense. But in this day a guy like him who can't shoot the 3 is a bit of a liability in the NBA. Even if his defense improves.

They look good, but I'll always be partial to the 2003 team

It has been brought to my attention that sometimes Marcus Carr is magic. If only we could deploy 30 point Carr every night.

i mean C3333333333RR!

That was sick. And he was about to unleash a fierce jam on the other end as well. Glad he didn't get hurt there.

He’s obviously a really good athlete.  He’s going to need a couple of years to develop.  Hope he stays around.

Great post game interview. Hunter giving him the hug during it. Man, this team is special.

best offensive game by a longhorn in 26 years

maybe the best shooting game, but KD had several better overall offensive nights, many of them against big xii foes and in huge games.

At game. Whose record has Carr tied, Abrams?

Can’t find the first half record but most points in a game since Reggie freeman.

It is kind of fascinating how the personality of the team seems a lot different under Terry. Suddenly we are this offensive team who gives up 50% shooting to A&M Commerce.

Yeah and it’s hard to complain much after tonight but the defense seems to be heading in the wrong direction.

Typically not the style you want to play in the tournament as defense can be a lot more consistent game to game than hot shooting. We'll also have to see how it goes against top quality competition in conference. I'd feel better if the defense was consistent and offense built off of the defense.

Does the LHN not have access to the Texas record book? A little info on these records being broken and tied would have been helpful during the broadcast.
