This is the dumbest opinion in sports. There's not a different set of rules at the end of a game.

  • This is such an aggy take. If we handle our business, which we definitely do not, it matters zero what other schools do. Texas is the only school Texas needs to worry about and we are our own worst en

You can root for whomever you choose. But starting with Lol and spelling it "'cuz" makes you look stupid so the people who share your opinion would probably prefer you stay quiet.

Have you ever talked to a Michigan fan? They’re arrogant fucks and would be offended if you told them we are their academic and football equal. They’d look down on us. I pull for them over Ohio State but cut the crap that we are similar to them. They’re several notches higher academically and historically in football.

The implication that we're not a football school is dumb and that's what you're saying. Along with "the best we can hope for is 9-3." Your entire position is exactly as pathetic as the A&M fans who wore "just this one time" shirts when we played USC for the national championship. You're trying to glom on to TCU because they're having a good season. It's sad.

The funny thing about those shirts is that they wore “today only” shirts for the 2002 baseball team. Today only, in perpetuity.

Michigan and OSU both have one meaningful challenge in their conference schedule every year. Week after week of Northwestern, Indiana, Rutgers, and Nebraska will make you complacent.

Fair enough, but it's not like TCU ran through a gauntlet of playoff contenders.

They faced one 10-win team all year.  And they lost.

Wow. holy shit. I can see why #3 is just a backup RB. That was awful.

Had nothing to do with reading the blitz. He just stood still and didn't try to do anything.

I never in a million years would have thought 1) Sonny Dykes would be undefeated and in the CFP, 2} TCU would be there before us, and 3) Michigan would beat Ohio State 2 years in a row when the Fuckeyes have superior talent to both Michigan and TCU, and they're getting creampied right before our eyes.

And we'd do the same to them. We're very similar fanbases.

That wouldn't make the debate less stupid.

But thank you.

I really wish VRBO would stop mispronouncing their own name.

goddamn some of yall are retards

I root for TCU when they play other teams because of a fine lifelong friend who was an all SWC Frog football player in the 1920s and is in their Hall of Fame. He lettered in 2 or 3 other sports too.

Big12 was toughest most balanced conference to play in, especially since you gotta play everyone

Sonny Dykes is not undefeated.

Both of these backup RB's are pretty bad. I think if Blake Corum were playing this would be a whole different game, but that's why you recruit the next man up. Unfortunately the next man up should be rooming with BJ Foster

You know what. I’m gonna cheer TCU even harder

No Dykes was an option the last three hires and he wasn’t good enough

Dykes is in the CFP but he's not undefeated

It's true, I have a problem where I respond to stupid people too frequently. Like right now, for example.

Look, no one cares who you were shipmates with on the Titanic.

Edwards is as good as corum

The suckiness of this Mich QB is off the charts.

They went 1-1 against K St.

TCU played a much tougher schedule than Michigan. And it's showing.

Now see this is a great reason to root for TCU.

if this continues, Big10 fixin to have a very bad day.  Bama is so much better than tOSU/Michigan.  I'm also sure UW or Texas could beat anyone from the Big10.

Ohio State getting in as the #4 is looking pretty fucking terrible right about now.

Because this game reminds us how shitty we are at football.

Yes, but just one semester I think

Many in the nation have never heard of TCU?
Wut?
People all over are googling what those 3 letters stand for and laughing.

This seems to be a sensitive subject for you. I’m a huge Texas football fan and loyal to the program, but I’ve also learned not to tether my emotions to the success or failures of our football team. It’s just a game.

My “we’re a volleyball school” comment is a reflection of my attitude to celebrate our strong points and not obsess over our struggles.

Let me put it in different terms:

TCU winning or losing does not affect Texas. We are limited only by our own problems. We have nearly unlimited resources and still struggle. To think that this game will somehow be the thing that hurts Texas is pretty damn naive.

The better debate is why in the world are college football officiating crews so absolutely horrible? Just ass. Every crew in every conference. Ass.
