All Austin metro about to get severe thunderstorm warning, pea-size jail and 70 mph winds in many spots. Going to be a fun 20 minutes.

Tornado warning for Georgetown and north of Round Rock, potential tornado.

Looks like there might be a tornado on the ground passing I35 between Georgetown and Jarrell

Wind picking up. Looks like a little hole might open up around the land of MILFs and honey?

Yeah. I can see that coming right over my hood in sw austin and not getting shit

I'm getting nailed easily with 50 mph winds, hard rain but brief.

Not without it sitting over them.

listen, just like i told my lady friend, 30 seconds or 30 mins, its all the same...

The little cell passing over me right now has small hail, nothing damaging, 50 to 60 mph winds and it's moving right toward oak Hill and South austin. Don't think it'll be real bad but could knock a few things around.

Rain is much harder than I anticipated but it's moving so fast it won't flood.

Looks like strong rotation just south of Bee Cave.

For all of this bluster, only one little hail core in the entire Travis county area and it went right over my house and is moving into Southwest and South austin. But it's small hail.

Dumping rain and lots of lightning in 78730, but the wind doesn't seem too bad.

Windy as fuck in Brentwood.

Pretty uneventful in 78731 so far.  My old dog is still losing her mind.

Looks like the worst is over for me, the rest of you probably will get a lot of wind and rain but you should live through it...probably, maybe. Have a nice day.

Yeah, my 13-year-old buddy is leaning on me all shaky.  Dude tried to fight a garbage truck once, but thunder makes him turtle like a bitch.

Wow—this is some shit in the ‘46. No hail, but wind and rain so hard I couldn’t see out my windshield even with the wipers on their highest setting.

Almost zero rain in NW Travis.  Lots of wind for about 10 minutes.  It's past us now.

So... yeah... total nothingburger.

78717 (west side of Round Rock) just light rain off & on. Some wind & a little thunder.

a little thunder.

That's what Mrs. Brat said.

It is just drizzling now in '34. There was some decent rainfall but it didn't even last an hour.  My lights flickered a second though....nearly triggered me after my 3 days and 10 hours without power last time.

Ended up being a great storm for me south of Waco. Wind wasn't too bad based on our fence configuration , no hail, no nadoes, just a crap ton of rain.

Peach tree is blooming. Plum tree, blackberries, and dewberries starting to wake up too. Spring is here in Texas bitches.

i'm actually kinda... jealous. haven't seen/heard rain or thunder in six months.

Yep.  The heavy stuff stayed south and we got a good drench.

WTF? 2 rain 2023 threads?  @immamac  merge plz!

Yeah please delete the one I started as my dumbass apparently searches like an 80 year old.

Or maybe we'll get a lot of rain with two threads

I'm still on the ACC notification text list or whatever, and they have two campuses, including the Round Rock campus, without power.

Austin Energy only shows around 1,600 people without power.

So.....yeah, it happened, but not really.

Wife asks me at 7:15 to drive to her mom’s to tie down the trampoline (she lives about 6 minutes away).  Storm is set to hit my house at 7:20th ish and her’s at 7:25.  I’ll be damned if I didn’t get that bitch anchored to 3 trees with my ratchet straps when the bottom fell out and sirens started going back at my house (no reason for them to go off).   But did I die?    Not today

CoA/AISD sent out one text message and phone call for each minute of rain this storm produced

Give or take half an inch in SW Austin but, man, does the SATX area just get crazy hail all the time?  WTF.
