I’ve watched Hamlin since high school at Central Catholic. He’s a good dude. Met him more than a few times. Praying for him to be okay.

  • That's because the lawyers and engineers won't shut up.

Yeah, I don't know if he is in cardiac arrest or what.

he's dead of they're giving him cpr on the field and they haven't moved the body

They just said they’ve been administering CPR.  Fuck me

I was watching the replay and I wondered if it was a cardiac event the way it happened.

After this and the earlier USC/Tulane game where the players literally knocked each other out, fuck anyone who still uses words like "pussification" to describe the rule changes in football.

I was initially looking for signs of a head injury from the hit, there was certainly whiplash from the tackle, but he got up and fell backwards and hit the back of his head. Has to be a cardiac issue, Jesus.

I’ve heard of people getting hit in chest with baseball and they have a cardiac arrest. Is that what we are dealing with?

christian eriksen died on the field playing for denmark in the delayed euro 20 tournament (played in '21) and 18 months later was playing for denmark on the same field

broken trachea (based on odd tackle) or some cardiac event.  Crazy

Yikes — I wonder if that could be it

There’s no “that” here.

Peverly never got back on the ice as a player. When they got him stabilized and conscious he asked if it was his shift.

Prayers for this young man.

I don’t see how you can administer CPR and continue a game.

Yeah, these guys need to be sent home.

I'd leave the stadium as a fan even if they continued.

Thanks, that was scary

Holy shit. Just awful. Routine play.

They surely cancel the game if he is dead, right?

They might cancel it regardless. Didn’t they call the Stars game when Rich Peverly had a heart attack on the bench?

It’s good news that they are still playing…if they do. If he had passed, there is no way they play.
