"Mike McCarthy has decided that he will not coach in the NFL in the 2025 season, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday, as the former Cowboys and Green Bay Packers head coach will instead focus on the 2026 hiring cycle."

Where?  at Olive Garden?

Hell yeah, Mike. He’s gonna go sit in his office eating Cheetos all day and lie to all his future employers about watching every play of the 2025 season.

No wonder Kelly took the worst available OC job. Deal is reportedly $6M/yr., double last year’s highest paid coordinator. Lulz Raiders

Kelly has no interest in being a head coach anymore he just wants to call plays and get paid as much as he can

$6M to not have to HC and playcall is pretty fucking good gig. It's more than he was making as a HC.

at face value I agree.  Maybe Chip is in get paid mode, seems kind of the opposite of what he was selling when he left UCLA.   Dude has always been different so I really don't know.   Maybe he wants one more bite at the NFL.  He's 61 and fat as fuck so I would assume he's got less than 10 years left.

No surprise.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to become the New Orleans Saints’ head coach, barring any unexpected developments, per league sources.

Would showing your ass in the Superbowl count as an unexpected development?

I'm laughing, but congrats to Kellen.  An amazing rise to head coach in no time at all.

Two days after helping the Eagles win the Super Bowl, Boise State legend Kellen Moore is now the new head coach of the New Orleans Saints. The 36-year-old spent four seasons as the OC of the Cowboys before spending the 2023 season w/ the Chargers.
