August 30, 20196 yr Fear Inoculum and Pneuma ate my entire commute this morning, but I dug both. At this rate, it would take 2 days of commuting to hear the whole thing. Edited August 30, 20196 yr by Al_4_ISU

August 30, 20196 yr I've been listening since 5am and think Pnuema and Culling Voices are great. *7empest didn't originally download but I changed some settings on my phone and yeah, that song is nails... Edited August 30, 20196 yr by Greg Davis Apologist
August 30, 20196 yr The last 2 minutes of Pneuma are the high point of the album to me so far. Skipped ahead to 7empest. Bad ass.
August 30, 20196 yr Author It's a lot to unpack. Pneuma and 7empest definitely stood out. I'm going back in.

August 30, 20196 yr I’ll be missing the first Houston show, but knowing Tool, they will tour this for 5 years.
August 30, 20196 yr Author Probably going to gamble on another tour as well. Either they hit up Austin/Cedar Park again or I'll have an excuse to see family in the Pacific Northwest.
August 30, 20196 yr Author I'm so happy that I avoided Invincible and Descending until now. Descending is monstrous.
August 30, 20196 yr I love the last 4-5 minutes of Descending. I mean, the whole song is great, but I really fucking love the last 4-5 minutes.
August 30, 20196 yr Will be at Houston show. Third time listening to album. Pneuma and 7empest are great. Tons of respect for Danny on how he can play drums . Love the beats, composition changes. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
August 30, 20196 yr Half way through it, love it...[emoji1360][emoji1360]Definitely be at the Houston show.
August 30, 20196 yr Trying to avoid reading this thread, but just looping Pneuma so far and it’s fucking fantastic. Pure Tool. God damn
August 30, 20196 yr Album is amazing, and with most of Tool's work, just gets better the more you listen to it. I love there's no cookie cutter song for the radio. Adam Jones is a legend Edited August 30, 20196 yr by Bobby Light
August 30, 20196 yr I was for sure they would play the new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, maybe next round I guess 😢
August 30, 20196 yr Gotta say, I was really nervous about the album after they released the single earlier this month. But I'm a dumbass, it's awesome.

August 30, 20196 yr On my second time through the album now. Invincible and 7empest are the two that jump out at me off the bat. We'll see how the others grow the more I listen.
August 30, 20196 yr Listened beginning to end at least 4 times a today. Pneuma is my fav but all 6 songs are awesome.
August 31, 20196 yr After listening all day, I think Invincible is my favorite. I liked it when I heard the live one come out earlier this summer but I love the studio version. However, as with every other Tool album, my favorite will likely change a few times over the next few years before it settles on something.
August 31, 20196 yr Introduced my 12 year old daughter to Tool this evening. She’s a big music fan and has pretty mature music taste for her age. Her comment “It’s really good. I like that it’s not repetitive and they let the music go where it takes them.”Made me proud. There’s hope for the future.
August 31, 20196 yr Author I was 12 when 46&2 changed my perspective on music. Spiral out. Edited August 31, 20196 yr by ConferenceRoom
August 31, 20196 yr Text from my son: Pneuma and 7empest are ridiculous. I've listened to the entire album twice tonight.
August 31, 20196 yr Author Call me a nerd but it’s fun to imagine some of these songs alluding to stories from Arrakis given the obvious Dune influence. I love this album.
August 31, 20196 yr It seriously exceeds all expectations. It will take months to fully digest. Just brilliant all around
September 1, 20196 yr Descending is coming on strong as my favorite right now. Jones and Carey are just fucking killing it on this album.

Yeah Carey has always had some really cool percussion but I feel like on this one he was just like "hey guys I'm just gonna fuckin drum on this shit"
September 1, 20196 yr Yeah Carey has always had some really cool percussion but I feel like on this one he was just like "hey guys I'm just gonna fuckin drum on this shit" There are a number of spots where I’m thinking “I’m going to need to see him play that live”
September 1, 20196 yr Listening to this album all the way through makes me feel like I'm at a live show. With how long the songs are and the interludes and even a drum solo, it just feels like an entire concert. Really looking forward to seeing them at that San Antonio date.
September 1, 20196 yr I envy those of you with children old enough to enjoy Tool. I am currently taking joy in taunting my 9yo stepdaughter about the billboard rankings because she is a huge TSwift fan. I also blast Tool in the car on the way to cheer practice. She yells but nobody can hear her. Edited September 1, 20196 yr by NorthLoop
