Apparently the album leaked over the weekend. I haven't heard it yet, but it's probably available where illegal downloads are usually found. The story of how it got leaked is pretty entertaining.

Introduced my 12 year old daughter to Tool this evening. She’s a big music fan and has pretty mature music taste for her age. Her comment “It’s really good. I like that it’s not repetitive and they

Great show. Who was the guy that came out and played with Danny during his drum solo?

Pat Mastelotto. I feel like he was at the 2020 FEC show. Maybe San Antonio in 2019?

Ah, ok. And yep, I remember that now. I think it was the 2020 show.

Weird they played Corpus and skipped Houston.

For the 4th largest city in the country Houston gets skipped ....a lot.

it's weird they played no songs from aenima and it was still a fantastic show. would have preferred stinkfist over schism as the closer but whatever. we got the pot and they haven't been playing that one much this tour.

Last night was my first time seeing Tool...fantastic show!  I can see why they are on a lot of folks' "bands you must see" lists.

Will be there tonight in Dallas for a small fortune. Last time they came through I drove to Tulsa and saved a bundle - just bit the bullet this time. It is a testament to them that they can have a setlist without so many of the favorites on it and still be great.

That's fucking awesome

Great show last night. How many bands can tour and barely play any of their bigger songs and nobody gives a shit? That’s difficult to pull off. I’ve seen them several times so seen most of my favorites through the years - was very cool to experience Rosetta Stoned in person.

In three years, the rest of the band will have just decided that Maynard is not an orc.

If you want some entertainment go check out the Tool reddit page. Their "tool in the sand" concert in the Dominican was a colossal failure. They advertised unique sets for each day but apparently played the same songs on both nights with only a few different songs. Fans in the crowd were loudly booing the band and flipping them off the entire time.

out of the 9 song setlist, there were 4 repeat songs. definitely would've been pissed if i shelled out that kind of money.

You'll take what Maynard gives you and you'll like it

Tool or their fans?

They fucked this up. I saw Maynard recently admitted they fucked up on digital, too. Wonder when they’ll realize they fucked up not pro filming their concerts.

Meh. I went to a Tool concert once where Maynard sat down at the back of the stage facing the other way almost the whole time. You take what you get with him sometimes.

He’s usually in the dark, on a platform in the back. They’ve said they want their visuals and entire show to be the focus, not just one guy.
