I have Microsoft 900 series keyboard and mouse combos at my office, home office and bedroom (where I sometimes work). The mouse is full-size and I can use it for several hours (gaming) without cramping up.

Unfortunately the scroll wheel on one of them is messed up. I try scrolling down, but sometimes it won't move, and other times jump up.

I can't get inside the mouse because there are no visible screws. So my options are a) Buy another combo set for $32; or b) get a replacement mouse. Any recommendations on a mouse? Or should I just get another combo?

if you're gaming in the bedroom, you're doing it wrong.  Try laying pipe instead.

ebay... can get same mouse if like it for half the combo cost or less (a like new one currently listed for $12 shipped)

just buy anything from logitech and dont give it another thought.  no idea what frequencies my mice are

Decided to get rid of the wired kb/ mouse cord clutter a couple of years ago, and went with the Logitech MK295 Wireless Mouse & Keyboard Combo, Mouse model is M220.  Works well.
