June 17, 20187 yr Lots of people from countries like Nigeria and the Philippines do it pretty regularly if their work involves import/export. I know a few Texans in oil who do something similar in Saudi and Canada. That would be quite brutal, even if it were only once a week.

June 18, 20187 yr Seems like a good one. Glad that we got him. Upsides: Athletic. Can grow into frame. Looks very quick. Plays very aggressively. Downsides: Needs to grow into frame. Raw.

December 18, 20196 yr Herman mentions in passing that Mpagi is/was dealing with a heart issue. More color around this coming, I'm sure

August 28, 20223 yr Man, that’s shocking for a guy that young to need a transplant. Get healthy young man and love a good long life.

August 28, 20223 yr It's amazing how commonplace the heart transplant is now. Good luck to the young man!

August 28, 20223 yr Popular Post This one hits close to home. I have two kids with cardiomyopathy. My son is the same age as Peter. We were lucky that they got diagnosed early and we’ve treated them over the years. Hoping for nothing but the best for this kid. Hope it all goes well.
January 13, 20232 yr Popular Post Rojo will be fucking missed. He's still there supporting his 2019 classmate even though Mpagi's been "off" the team for a few years now. He could be doing a ton of other things, but he's there showing love.
May 5, 20232 yr Popular Post I'm really proud of him. What a difficult journey, and he has come out of it such an impressive young man. Imagine the how difficult it is to get that kind of diagnosis. Then imagine how much more difficult it is your freshman year of college, when you are trying to figure out who you are and your place in the world. Then imagine being a high level D1 athlete who feels invincible and dreams of making millions in the NFL one day, and now you can't play and might not see 30 without a transplant. Just surviving is an accomplishment, but to put in the work to graduate from UT is incredible.
