March 25, 20232 yr TT pitcher with a total of 7 IP this season is doin’ Sigh Jung on Texas. Still 3-0 going after 4 …
March 25, 20232 yr Nice to see another team have shoddy defense If Whitaker is going to hit this girl she needs to get the ball down.
March 25, 20232 yr If you have to pinch hit for your 3 hole hitter with the tying run on 2nd you suck at making line ups.

March 25, 20232 yr Cimunz, Washington, Atwoods inability to go with or hit an outside pitch is infuriating
March 25, 20232 yr Pop up worked out for TT. Good trade off .. get speed off the base path for a Clydesdale. But, 2-run HR makes it for naught. Edited March 25, 20232 yr by VirginiaLonghorn
March 26, 20232 yr Author Couple of hits but Citlaly did not let Tech score in the first. Edited March 26, 20232 yr by Js1
March 26, 20232 yr Author Tech is…not good Scott tags up from 2nd to 3rd on a deep fly out and cut off woman threw it to the pitcher lazily, so Scott decided to score. Runner on 1st able to go to third
March 26, 20232 yr Author And Atwood doubles in a run and Tech kicks it around so she makes it home easily. 3-0
March 26, 20232 yr Texas must have had a discussion about the infielders/pitchers not paying attention after outs. Scott looked like she had every intention of going home there from the start.
March 26, 20232 yr Nice to see a player attack first base the right way. Dayton ran through, didn’t dive, and stepped on the front edge of the bag.
March 26, 20232 yr The shortstop just stood there while Mia White ran 60 feet to get ball. Didn’t back up. Didn’t go get ball. Yank her.
March 26, 20232 yr Author Texas sweeps Tech. 3-0 in conference and 30 wins already OU next weekend - Friday night in OKC and Sat/Sunday in Norman
March 27, 20232 yr Author Texas creeps up to 10th in RPI 10th in D1 softball (up 4 spots) Honestly if we can steal one game this weekend against OU, it would be a great weekend for us. On the flip side, not being run-ruled 3 days in a row would also feel like a win. Edited March 27, 20232 yr by Js1

They only have 57 HR as a team right now, with no one having more than 8. They don't have a dominant HR hitter like Alo this year. They do have a team ERA of 1.00

Seriously though, how is that relative to other terrific pitching teams this year across the country? 3rd best in the country - Tennessee is 0.62 and Clemson is 0.63 Texas is 1.84, which is 16th. The best staff we have faced thus far is Wisconsin (13th at 1.83) Edited March 27, 20232 yr by Js1

Jennings hit ~ 30 homers last year and has 5 this year. She is still clutch and has a > 400 average overall, but the power isn't there. Sanders also hit about 30 homers last year, and she been just plain bad. I think more strikeouts than hits, and only 220 overall. She's sitting a lot. That said, OU still leads the nation in team batting average (390) on base % (480), slugging (715), and runs per game (9). But last year they were scoring 10 a game. Jayda Coleman is putting together a player of the year case with a 500 batting average, 640 on base, 8 HR, 12/12 stolen bases, and outstanding defense.
