As much as I want to see this, I just can't knowing that Jared Pedo is into those younger than 18. He's a creep and a weirdo, even without the allegations. His method acting is annoying. So, if he weren't a cult leading alleged pedo, I might like his movies, but I ain't into that shit and taking advantage of teenagers.

If it's a good movie, fine. But his band sucks, and I'll die on that hill, too.

I hadn't really kept up with this movie at all and saw extended trailer during football game. Couple of things would keep me away from this in theater (unless reviews come back as super positive)

1) the CGI in trailer looks a little cringey

2) Leto typically sucks as lead.

It's Tron...so I'm in.

Legacy was criminally underrated as the visuals/music were amazing, and the story wasn't that bad either.

I'm here for the sfx, music, and Jeff Bridges

The soundtrack was really cool. Bridges and his appearance were well done. He's aged well and seeing him as part of a long since forgotten part of the computer universe was nice.

I think it'd be great to be able to operate one of those bikes. They looked like all kinds of fun. This film deserves to win something for the music. The rest is not really memorable other than you know there will be more of these films. I'm alright with that as it was couple of hours of enjoyment in a 4DX 3D screening.

One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. And throughly enjoyed it.
Trent Reznor got Disney to pay him and make him a $180 million music video for his new album.

It was fine but yet another in a long line of sequels that didn't need to get made and will ultimately be forgettable. At least Legacy had a better tie-in to the original story. I don't understand how this both got greenlit and they decided on Jared Leto to be the lead. It was fine as a popcorn flick but the motivations were a rushed mess, the villain was completely cartoonish, and the action was mostly all shown in the trailers. They didn't even handle being dropped into the Grid well compared to Legacy.

Pretty much.

I think Tron is loved for the nostalgia...Legacy loved for the Daft Punk Soundtrack(and maybe even more visually stunning still than even this one) and I think the Music in this one was great. And the story, plot, was actually the best of the 3, and it wasn't close. More stakes, more depth.

And I'll go ahead and say the best Leto performance in a decade? Maybe more?  Not saying it was some Oscar worthy job, but I found him fun to watch, and engaging character.

I wouldn't mind seeing more.

If given the option go for the 3D version.  I went in with no expectations other than an interest in the NIN soundtrack.  I got super high and enjoyed the visuals and music.  Mission accomplished.
