January 22, 20232 yr I like Carr. I liked Carr when he was at Pitt but, damn if sometimes he doesn’t drive ya nuts.

January 22, 20232 yr The FR aren't ready for this level of play. Terry won this game by keeping both of them on the bench for almost the entire 2nd half.
January 22, 20232 yr This conference is so stupid. Hillbilly hell over there is the 3rd easiest away game? Had this one in the toss up column. If we are going to get to 12-6 or something like that in conference we needed that.
January 22, 20232 yr Gritty ass win in a janky refereed game without one of our own top guys (Allen) offering anything on the scoreboard
January 22, 20232 yr Rotation needs to look like the 2nd half. Carr, Allen, Hunter, Rice, Bishop, Disu, and Cunningham getting almost all the minutes. Mitchell has zero offensive game and you're playing 4 on 5 with him on the offensive end. Morris makes too many dumb mistakes when the margin of error is so small in this conference. Both those guys will eventually be good players but you can't be giving them big minutes in this conference.

Morris made a huge experience mistake when he had a dunk blocked in a 1 v 1 situation because he didn’t go up left handed to put his body in the way and either get the dunk or draw the foul. WV white boy got him.

Yeah you just have to live with the good and the bad. Overall he's been very in control this season and picked his spots at a pretty elite level. It makes it easy to give him a pass for the occasional bad play.

January 22, 20232 yr Carr looked much more in control tonight. Decisive when he needed to be. This is the Carr needed for the rest of conference.

January 22, 20232 yr Final Stats... turnovers and free throws big. Texas shot better in 2nd half -- seemed like more in the paint baskets. Edited January 22, 20232 yr by LTtxfan
January 22, 20232 yr We looked aggressive on both ends for most of the game while committing only 13 turnovers, that's not nothing. Solid, much needed win against a decent team that's tough at home. Congrats Horns. From the Dept. of Capt. Obvious---a home win against 7th in the league Ok-State is a must have for us at this point. with the brutal 4-game stretch we have after that.
