Otamendi looked up at his yellow and was a little shocked that it was only a yellow.

He should be gone.

FIFA should suspend him for game 3. (Not that it will matter much.)

The team that plays in next year's Copa America will be drastically different in personnel and style to this team.

Rakitic almost with #3.

No.  Their best bet is a 1-0 Nigerian win.

0-0 wouldn't be too bad either

Argentina racking up the yellows now

Yeah. They are going to have a bunch of players sitting out due to accumulation of cards.

Wait...

Well they have to beat Nigeria to advance.  If Iceland gets a point tomorrow, they would have to rely on Croatia in the last game.  If Iceland loses tomorrow, Argentina controls their destiny.

Argentina faces look like the Brazil faces when they ran into Germany in 2014.

"We're this bad?  No shit?  I thought we were good.  No?  Damn."

This is embarrassing, but is appropriate.

The team has given up. The 23 man squad wasn't good. The 11 man selection was bad.

Caballero made the save while keeping the ball in so that Croatia could clean up. Why he doesn't slap that ball away and out for a corner?... I have no idea.

Game 3 SHOULD be an experimental side, but I doubt that it will be.

I can't express in words how much I am enjoying this result. The last time I had this much fun during an Argentina game was in 1994 at the Cotton Bowl when they lost 2-0 and at least one goal was scored right in front of us.

jesus christ, i thought the 1-1 fiasco would be a wake up call.  they just got buttfucked hard.

The Argentines were always afraid that they really were as bad as they were in qualifying.

i really don't have a good comprehension of how argentina comes up with its lineup...seems bizarre.
