I'm not sure if they took it to Norman today. Soooo, pretty much any day of the week?

February 23, 20232 yr I don't think OU has a Cade Horton walking through the door in mid-April to give them a shot in the arm. Skip went heavy JUCO kids to replace all that they lost and it's been pretty bad so far against meh competition.

February 26, 20232 yr Jfc I just saw where Western Illinois went 8-44 last year. Tech really challenging themselves this weekend. Their non conference schedule is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Even the tournament they play in at Minute Maid has 2 games against Michigan and Rice.

March 3, 20232 yr Rice beats Tech, 3-2. Tech plays one of the weaker non-conference schedules you will see, so dropping a game at a neutral site to a bad team is going to hurt.

March 9, 20232 yr Feel like I say this every year but it’s a shame that baseball isn’t on tv more. Yeah there’s ESPN+ but it seems to just have such limited exposure for a game that has, in my opinion, the best playoff system out there. It’s a great thing to have on the tv when you’re cooking or something, there’s key moments of excitement but also lots of breathing room to stay on task.

But I think the regionals and CWS do at least get pretty extensive coverage from ESPN at least. And I should note that the Pokes have 2 of the first 3 from Arizona State and we've won 7 straight now. (knock wood)
March 9, 20232 yr Yep, got clobbered by Arky and lost a close one to Vandy…but taking care of business in the rest of the weak noncon. Wish there was more coverage on our blogs about it, and from what I’ve heard D1 isn’t that great for the price. Having McLean back was huge but it’s a long season and Josh teams have certainly peaked early before.

Visited some, especially during baseball season. Seemed to have knowledgeable fans.
March 10, 20232 yr If TCU loses 2 of 3 this weekend they might be in a bit of trouble. They have played with their food a lot after the good start in Arlington. Edited March 10, 20232 yr by Hookem2147

Pretty good fans for sports stuff, but the news/politics board was ass backwards as fuck painful.
March 10, 20232 yr Orangepower went under? Well that sucks to hear. D1 Baseball never really seemed all that interested in the Big 12. And I get it, there are a small number of them and a shitload of teams around the country. But in addition to not really telling me more about the Big 12 than I didn't already know just watching Texas play every weekend, they also seemed a little too SEC focused so I wasn't really learning much about the other non-SEC teams as well. Maybe that is unfair? Anyway they are sort of the only game in town for College Baseball fans. So there is that.
March 11, 20232 yr TCU got absolutely spanked by San Diego 14-2 tonight. Kansas lost to Western Carolina and Baylor got killed by Mercer.

Yeah I definitely follow Kendall Rogers and Aaron Fitt on Twitter and I like their free content, but $15 a month seems a bit pricey for niche content that I'm only going to look at a few months out of the year. I mean, I'm paying like $7 a month for The Athletic to get WAAAAY more content across every sport.
