I’m gonna go with Ryan Healy beat Cano’s ass.   Not really, but that would be funny.

You’ll see the video at some point, but Trea Turner just got called out for oversliding 2B on a steal attempt while Bryce fucking walked. That is fucking ridiculous.

Cuts off before explaining why anyone was out on a ball 4.

Because he overslid the bag.  He advanced to second safely as entitled to do, then came off of second and was tagged.

This isn't the first time this has happened this season.  It seemed like it happened to Washington the first time, too.

We're still talking about these?  Slow down as you approach a base so that you are under control enough to stay on it.

Slow down? That pitch easily could have been a strike. If Trea slows down & Bryce gets rung up, we’re fucking killing Trea for not busting his ass on an inning-ending DP.

Happy he was able to be with his mother, and that professionally it's worked out for him too:

C’mon, Oakland. Your team is arguably the most exciting thing going in baseball right now.  They are in the thick of the playoff hunt.  They are locked in a mortal battle with another high-profile playoff team in September.   And you can only put 17.5K in the seats?

Pathetic.

It’s why they have been begging to find a new stadium for a while. Curious to how this plays out for them.

Dodgers we're down 4-0, now down 4-3 with men on 2nd and 3rd with no out.

That stupid fucking community college blocked our downtown stadium proposal (we even got the politicians onboard! That's a miracle in Oakland) so it looks like we'll have to build on the Coli site. It's got decent transit links but South Oakland is ...not the greatest.

I honestly don’t think I would build any stadium in any sport without having really great transit links.

It's good enough - it has a BART and Amtrak station and it's next to the highway. It's not a hub like the downtown site but it works. There's just nothing to do around it.

Whew can't believe we only gave up one run there...

Interesting pull there by Boone

seriously. Happ has given up 2 hits, he's at 78 pitches, and with a lefty coming up he pulls him to being in a righty. Strange decision, and i was pulling for a Piscotty bomb to make him pay.

They should move to Charlotte or Austin.

Announced as a PH and then removed when the Dodgers changed pitchers?

He pitched 2 innings, think I just caught the box score during a glitch.

Somewhere, Derka just... well, I actually don't even want to think about how Derka reacted to that bomb.

Flowers was not real pumped with the way he crossed HP either.

He didn't run right away, but his reaction was more of disbelief than trying to show anyone up.  (He looked kind of like Fred Sanford having a heart attack.)

Then he went back into the dugout and couldn't stop smiling.

And he's in the field now, and still can't stop smiling.

I meant the Manziel money-flash three times when he crossed. I didn’t mind it, but Flowers did.

Great comeback by the Red Sox. 7-1 down in the 8th, win 9-8.

Braves were up 10-2 vs the Cubs earlier this year and lost 14-10 with 9 runs coming in the 8th.

Cubs were down 8 in the 6th, 7 in the 7th, and 5 in the 8th.

Fuck the Cubs

Someone needed to say it

Sucks for the league and baseball in general.

Good for the AL West in the near term.

That start they gave him looked stupid, went badly, and turned out worst.
