But fucking Taylor Sheridan needs to allow someone to give him notes on occasion. Just some help on the fact checking and making sure the plot ties together/motivations make sense. That’s what writer’s rooms are for.
February 6, 20241 yr I'm in season 3 and on page 12. I've got a lot of problems you people and you're gonna hear about them....when I catch up. Out of all the bitching, I do agree that the meth head barrel rider chick who doesn't speak English is a travesty. Fuck off with that nonsense
February 7, 20241 yr Season 4, episode 1 Montana is basically Guadalajara or Medellin. I had no idea, but I'm ready
February 7, 20241 yr The west never settled all the way down. That and it ain’t all ate up with Austin hipsters wearing skinny jeans. (Nothing against hipsters. Just saying they aren’t violent men is all.)
February 8, 20241 yr I love a lot of Ryan Bingham's music, Southside of Heaven is my chef's kiss. But he either sucks shit at acting, or his character sucks, or both.
February 8, 20241 yr He is a terrible actor. This is known. He is a great musician. Mongo is just a pawn in game of life.

If you try to leave with John Dutton's permission, trip to the train station. And oh yeah, you get to live in a bunk house with 12+ other dudes. I understand Walker's reluctance/general bitch assery towards Rip.

Like many actors have expressed before, TV is a bitch. 6 months of shooting. Opposed to 30- 120 days for a movie. Costner was the sun of Yellowstone. Everything revolved around him. There’s no way to make the show work without him. There’s no way to organically write him out of the show. That said, the colon cancer plot they completely abandoned in Season 1 could come back. It’ll be an unsatisfying end, but it’s their only plausible out.

He and Sheridan don't get along, Costner wanted to try to get more control from him but the studio backed Sheridan so he quits.
June 23, 20241 yr He might be forced to come back out of necessity. His Horizon movie is getting a pretty negative buzz. And he put a lot of his own money into it. Might need a payday.
June 24, 20241 yr How are they premiering a season in November and Costner is on the fence to return?! I think he’s gone. Sheridan unwisely thinks his brand is bigger than Costner/John Dutton. I think he’ll play the Rip and Beth greatest hits to please red state housewives and call it a day.

November 1, 20241 yr My frustration with television is reaching an all time high. After the goat fuck of finding the Horns on the espn app, now I cannot figure out where, besides Hulu Live, the Yellowstone season 5b will air. I have Uverse (for about another three months before dumping) which has the Paramount Network. But this Paramount Network won’t broadcast it, while the “other” will? Then there is CBS, Peacock, etc. Where can one watch this Sunday night or shortly thereafter?

Peacock has the streaming rights, but I believe they can only put it on there after the entire season ends. I’ll watch, but I’m not expecting much. There hasn’t really been a trailer which is usually an indicator that it’s shitty.

That’s why I’m confused. Interestingly, CBS at 9 pm shows the new season.
November 2, 20241 yr My guide shows the first new episode back on Paramount Network on Sunday, Nov 10.

November 11, 20241 yr I want Beth and Jamie off the show. Hopefully Beth kills him at the Train Station and she drags him into the hole with her.
November 11, 20241 yr Spoiler Welp, that’s the most Sheridan way to handle a contract dispute. I was hoping they’d edit some B reels and splice him into a couple episodes, but Sheridan took a saltier approach.
November 11, 20241 yr This is the most pussy cock sucker way way to do this. No in fuk would Dutton do that. This is bullshit writing
November 11, 20241 yr I wish I didn't have to watch this fucking endless circle to nowhere, but pot committed unfortunately. I'm glad it's ending, and so far it's just fucking hilarious how the are dealing with it's only good character stepping away. What a clown show.
November 11, 20241 yr Oh goody … another Taylor Sheridan series, Landman. What’s the o/u on when he loses interest and it drifts into oblivion?

November 11, 20241 yr Bingham's Bourbon logo on the back of Walker's hat. This really is such an unserious show.
November 11, 20241 yr Initial thoughts. Spoiler It can be a good revenge show. Horrible execution at the beginning, but there’s a narrow path to stick the landing. The show is at its best when it’s a cowboy hang out show. I don’t know how we got here, but the Duttons can only fight the big bada for a couple seasons before we lose interest. Sheridan wisely saw this happen in Dallas and he pivoted. I enjoyed the spur maker scene in Pampa. I think I saw a Texas Country Reporter swgement on that fella. Rip was right. God ain’t making guys like that any more.

November 11, 20241 yr Damn. I could watch the cowboy stuff all day. I'm sure it bores 99% of the general public.

November 11, 20241 yr All I can say is Jamie’s girlfriend is super smoke.I’ll watch til the end. I figure Costner shows up in the flashback scenes.
November 12, 20241 yr I really liked this line. When he's gone, we're all out of legends," "With nobody trying to be the next one."

November 12, 20241 yr This show fucking sucks. Its sucked since the 2nd season. The only reason I watch is the finality of it all. Sundays episode may be the worst of the series in fact, no, its the worst. Pure crap. Cant wait for this show to end

We watch it because we've been watching it and I'm in consumer retail and Taylor Sheridan has slapped the brand on everything he could so I kind of have to watch it. That being said, this show sucks. The cinematography and music are good but the writing is awful. It's basically a soap opera for rural, white people. Beth is particularly poorly written. She's a crazy drunk and the women viewers like Rip because he lets Beth be a crazy drunk. Costner should have stayed on for the payday instead of doing that god awful 50 hour western that he did.

November 13, 20241 yr I went to HEB Sunday night before the new show, and counted no fewer than 6 women in Beth Dutton t-shirts of some form or fashion, and got dammit if there is a bigger red flag announcing someone as a person to avoid, I've never seen it.
