He's ass

I wasn’t impressed either. Hopefully Pope follows him out as well.

Chavez to ou. Big mistake

Don't understand that decision. Did she have any ties to OU?

Maybe she wants an ultimate green light and isn't a fan of playing defense and being held accountable. Which I get to some degree I guess. Vic's style isn't for everyone.

She mentioned ou’s pace of play.  Comfort with players.  She’s dumb

Sounds like I nailed it 😂

Whatever. Guess we owe them some ass-beatings.

I get transitions, but why would Pryor play for RT but not even give Sean Miller a chance?  I smell a bag.

He has a do not contact tag so he was definitely gone before even thinking about his own fit with Miller

Pope would likely be as good as Souley Boum under Miller.

Miller would utilize Pope far better than RT.  Watch Pope's OSU highlights.  Not a Wooden finalist, but a far different and better player.

Just keep Vinson, Weaver, and Clark and build from there. There is enough quality out there to build a roster in short order, but Miller doesnt seem to be in a hurry. I hope he reaches out to Koa Peat to add to the class. Clark is absolutely thrilled by the hire.

I think we have a really good shot here.

(no, not really)

Allegedly Jordan was involved too, as OU wears the brand and a potential sponsor deal.

Well…

… you’re not saying “No” to Jordan if he is telling you that he believes in you.

I’m sure that A.C. is going to be good. I have never seen a single highlight of hers and would have never heard of her if OTF hadn’t been pumping her up for 6 months, but I guess that that’s how it works.

Hopefully Vic gets someone who can shoot 3s out of the portal.

And I’m convinced those fuckers only signed up for the Jumpman is because at first glance and from a distance the logo looks like an upside down Longhorn

How is she dumb?

Texas already has a really good freshman PG and has the #5 player in this class committed who is a 6'1 PG/CG.

Chavez wants to be a ball dominant PG. She doesn't want a crowded backcourt including a girl in her own class. It's the same reason you don't see 2 top QBs commit to the same school in the same cycle. Nothing dumb about it, and anyone who paid attention knew she wasn't going to go to Texas due to that. Pace of play is just an excuse to tell media.

Anybody that chooses to go to ou, especially over Texas is a dumb ass.  Dumb ass.  She’s a dumb ass. Especially given the trajectory of both programs, both schools and one school is in Oklahoma.  Total dumb ass

Crump is more of a 3 than a PG. But Texas has not only Harmon potentially coming back, but Preston returning. And Booker can and often does facilitate the offense as a point forward.

Plus Texas is returning a super senior in Leila Phelia, who redshirted this year. Pretty good scorer at Michigan. And Lee is only a sophomore next year

Pace of play for Texas never worried me as much as Texas returning 4 guards + Phelia + Crump. She ain’t going to patiently wait her turn.

Vic had some assassin 3 point shooters at MSU, including one who now sits on the bench and has the last name Schaefer. But they were never the “stars” like Chavez wants to be. She wants to be the leader of the Oklahoma Chavezes, not the OU Sooners.

That's why she was never going to Texas. She wants to be Luka Doncic ball dominant. Going to be difficult to do that with so many very good young guards at Texas.

I like the cut of your jib- take my 9.95

Don't fill up on guys from a team that needed a late 2nd half rally just to beat our sorry 2024/2025 asses.

Nab the 2 best then move on.

Texas basketball transfer portal targets: Who we expect Longhorns to recruit
Several names not mentioned before here

New Texas men's basketball coach Sean Miller is hitting the ground running, tasked with flipping the Longhorns' roster that's expected to lose a large percentage of its scoring in 2025, notably expected lottery pick Tre Johnson.

The Transfer Portal is open and active, and the Longhorns have their eyes on a number of top available prospects.

Here's a look at the names to know that Texas is after, at least in some capacity, according to sources close to their recruitments.

Ryan Conwell, Guard, Xavier

16.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists last season. 45 percent field goal percentage.

Nick Davidson, Forward, Nevada

15.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 50 percent field goal percentage.

Dailyn Swain, Forward, Xavier

Averaged 11 points and 5.5 rebounds last season. One of the Musketeers' top contributors.

Dedan Thomas, Guard, UNLV

15.6 points, 2 rebounds, 4.7 assists per game. 41.3 percent field goal percentage.

Quimari Peterson, Guard, East Tennessee State

19.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists. 46.8 field goal percentage.

Kennard Davis, Forward, Southern Illinois

16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists. 45.5 percent field goal percentage.

Matas Vokietaitis, Center, Florida Atlantic

10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds. 67.7 field goal percentage.

Tae Davis, Forward, Notre Dame

15.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists. 47.6 percent field goal percentage.

Amani Hansberry, Forward, West Virginia

9.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists. 42.9 percent field goal percentage.

Magoon Gwath, Center, San Diego State

8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds. 50.6 percent field goal percentage. Reigning Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year.

Langston Love, Guard, Baylor

8.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists. 38.9 percent field goal percentage.

There are definitely some scorers on this list that would infuse the roster with some up side

Just get Forsyrhe and Nyk Lewis then build it from there. They got released from their NLI (if that even exist still) and are top 50-100 players, so Miller needs to get thrm, Conwell, and Swain, then raid the rest of the portal,

Magoon Gwath from Euless would be a nice addition. He is an athletic center. He has limited post moves, but can hit open shots, run the floor and defend other bigs.

Has to be better than the twat we ran out a C the last two years. He was softer than soft serve.

Yeah they didn't show any defensive highlights but he was the defensive player of the year in the Mountain West.
