February 5, 20232 yr Stars Jason Segel and Harrison Ford, created by the guys behind Scrubs and Ted Lasso. Segel is a depressed therapist. Really good 3 episodes in.
February 6, 20232 yr Depressed is kinda Segel's thing. I enjoyed the first 2 eps. Going in I was really afraid he would be super mopey like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but he wasn't. Him being a therapist makes it more interesting.
February 6, 20232 yr Have watched the first two and thought it was great. They use music really well.
February 7, 20232 yr The commercials for this didn’t make me want to watch it at all but I started it because of this thread and really enjoyed the first two.
February 7, 20232 yr Two baddies in the pool seem fun. i laughed… is so and so home? Ssshhhhh… oh now you want me to be quiet … hahaha
February 7, 20232 yr Show’s hilarious—must also be a therapist wet dream with how unethical they all are.
February 7, 20232 yr “You do that all the time?” ”What? No! I’m a real estate attorney- this was the biggest thrill of my life!” legit lol

February 8, 20232 yr Watched the premiere tonight. Fucking loved it. Didn’t know — or forgot — that Segel is a therapist in the show so the cold open ending was hysterical.

February 10, 20232 yr Watched all four episodes. Didn't know what to expect, but love it. Segal is great.

February 26, 20232 yr Not much to add, but I am enjoying this one. It is one of two shows I am actually watching (Bad Batch being the other).
March 4, 20232 yr The writing on this show is so freaking good and normal conversation funny. Of course it's no surprise with Bill Lawrence anymore
March 4, 20232 yr Another well done episode. It’s prolly a better binge show than one a week. it goes by so quick and I’m like wtf. Fuck Pam Edited March 6, 20232 yr by kingkoopa6

March 5, 20232 yr I didn’t realize Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) was one of the creators/writers on this until I saw the opening credits this week.

March 6, 20232 yr I want to like the show because it’s lighthearted and I think it’s good to have one of those in the rotation, but I struggle with this flavor of humor that depends on continuous cringe comments and self inflicted problems from the main character.
March 6, 20232 yr I've been describing this show as "highly polished" whereas the other one we've been watching, Poker Face, is not. Have been enjoying it.

March 19, 20232 yr Wow. Shrinking writing is getting better and better This show kicks ass now Almost made me cry i fucking hate you well I fucking love you I totally lost it during the scene with Jimmy, Liz and Michael where Jimmy was going to practice officiating Michael’s wedding. That was an Emmy-worthy episode. Jason Segal was fantastic in the scene where he was looking through his wife’s picture album. This show just gets better and better and better.

I just binged this over the past two days and really looking forward to the finale. Love this show and I’m not really a big Jason Segal fan, but he’s converted me with this.

March 22, 20232 yr My wife talked me into watching this with her and I'm glad she did. Harrison Ford is killing me in this: Babies, Musicals, Magic, Kale, then Academia
March 25, 20232 yr D man’s gonna be a B man! D man’s gonna be a B man! I was glad Kip the cowboy finally stepped up for his gay son, despite his uncomfortableness. Also, the last scene was very foreshadowed and predictable…things were just going too well.
March 26, 20232 yr Maybe I should put this in the Wives and the Stupid Shit They Sa/Do thread, but we finished up the finale last night, and the wife just realized that Jason Segal plays the main character. She had thought it was Judge Reinhold all season.
March 27, 20232 yr Odd ending I thought. Ready for Season 2!Gotta figure there is blow back from her therapist encouraging her to push him off the cliff and that drives the drama for Season 2
March 27, 20232 yr 2 episodes in and really enjoying it. Apple is doing some really strong television.
March 27, 20232 yr Great show where all the characters work really well, no one is a "token" character. They are all very well written.
March 27, 20232 yr Terrific show. Gabbie and Harrison Ford are really good in this. Early on I didn’t like Segel but the last 4 episodes were super strong.
