Glad we didn’t take another center cut fastball but unfortunately Taveras isn’t having a good series at the plate.

Series, playoffs, last 3 months...

Man, how I wish my dad could have been here to see this. Biggest Rangers fan ever. I was on the phone with him in 2011 when we needed one more strike. I’ve never heard such a crushed, disappointed rea

We’ve had enough mistake pitches by Gallen to get on base at this point.

Sure but let's not act like he isn't throwing a WS gem.

This is a game we miss Adolis. He would have sent one to Wyoming on this dude by now.

I like him in the 6th versus their bottom of order and frankly think we need him.

Last time he’ll probably pitch this year, get everything you can out of him

This kid looks like he's ready to pitch the full 9.  Not good.

He's got 72 pitches and if this stays tight they will bring in the closer just on pitch count but yea...he's been very efficient

the decision was probably, can he give us an inning in a 7th game if we pull him now?  If not let him go.

He could Madison Baumgardner that shit 3 nights from now...Nate seems like the same kind of bulldog.

If he's still got a no-no do you still pull him?  I assume yes because the win is more important.  Would still suck, especially when our guys can't fucking touch him.

If it's still 0-0, 1-0 or probably even 2-0 yea you pull him.  Losing a WS chasing a no hitter would be peak idiocy.

Eovaldi has quietly been pretty fucking unreal tonight.

Or amazingly lucky. Maybe a little of both.

Great job, Nate.  You didn't have your best shit tonight but you battled like a fucking champ.

Let's go gets some hits, boys.

For Bochy and Evo?  Seriously doubt that ever crossed his mind. Boch is thinking of this game only. He can likely give us several innings on 3 days’ rest in the last game of the year. 85 or 97 pitches don’t make a difference. I wouldn’t mind bringing in Nate for the 7th. He hasn’t lost any effectiveness and in fact he’s getting stronger.

Nate's best inning.
Hey bats...something...anything?

Just takes one swing to pucker every butthole in Maricopa County.

Let’s do it!

Jank would play CF long before Evan, but not worth arguing about.

Travis Jankowski with a ridiculous catch to rob Mike Ford of a homer!

Carter would start in CF and Jank would play left. But this is a stupid convo because Leody isn’t going anywhere.

In a different era, Nate is for sure going back out there.

his misses have been out of the zone, and hasn’t had them when it really counted.
