April 17, 20232 yr First two games @ KC are same pitching matchups as the final two games last week. deGrom vs Lyles and Eovaldi vs Keller.
April 17, 20232 yr Rangers wait until they are dominating their division to decide to be dressed like a minor league team. Dalarlington fecalcats.
April 17, 20232 yr "April 21 is a vital date in the history of Texas baseball." There are like a dozen follow-ups possible to that. What? Why? Is any date a vital date? What history of Texas baseball? Is there a single person that hears April 21 and it triggers some 'oh yeah, that's the day [something something texas baseball]'

Yea that’s the problem not many fans are going to know shit about this. I only know of these teams because of my grandpa and uncles
April 17, 20232 yr I hate them. I knew I would. Overall, I've never been impressed with the Rangers' branding.

ONE DATE IN TEXAS HISTORY REFLECTS THIS SPIRIT: APRIL 21. APRIL 21, 1836 THE DAY TEXAS GAINED INDEPENDENCE AND IS COMMEMORATED EVERY YEAR AS SAN JACINTO DAY. APRIL 21, 1868 THE FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP BASEBALL GAME IN TEXAS. APRIL 21, 1972 THE FIRST HOME GAME OF THE TEXAS RANGERS. APRIL 21, 2023 THE ON-FIELD DEBUT OF OUR CITY CONNECT UNIFORMS.

The demographics they are targeting in that ad are beyond me, I wonder if the data and analytics are saying that those demos (cholas and neck tattoos and urban/graffiti afficionados over a narration by a k104 DJ) are what will fuel the growth and revenue of the Rangers and baseball? That said, I agree that the Rangers uniforms have always sucked from a design perspective and I don't like the baby blue or throwback either. I guess give me the Red-and-White from the Kenny Rogers/Rusty Greer/Will Clark/Tom Heinke era. Edited April 17, 20232 yr by HamsterHookah

Lees 34-5 on the San Jacinto Battleground before a crowd of more than 1,000 people. While no formal leagues existed at the time, the game was billed as a "state championship game." very near and dear to my heart as a rangers fan.

Rangers word mark should be blue, too, bc the white gets washed out.

April 17, 20232 yr These are almost as bad as the Frank Catalanotto/Vicente Padilla sleeveless grays with the dry fit blue tee underneath. Almost.
