Man, how I wish my dad could have been here to see this. Biggest Rangers fan ever. I was on the phone with him in 2011 when we needed one more strike. I’ve never heard such a crushed, disappointed rea

How can the coaches not teach Jung to lay off the sweeper / slider?

If we get 2 shutout he's done his job.  I'm guessing he doesn't go more than 2.

He’ll go more than 2 if he’s doing his job. I’ll guess 3.1.

The ump called one 4 inches off the plate to start the ab. Probably didn’t help him.

gurriel is such a bitch.  it was almose middle middle.

I could watch Jung throw to 1st all day.

OK Gray goes another. pitch count is very low.

Great job by Gray.  Damn we needed him to be solid and he's delivering.

Oh GOD, Will Smith

huh?

Gray for one more, Smoltz is actually right amongst all his words, Gray probably isn't throwing 98 if he is trying to go 6-7 innings as a starter but here as a reliever only 20 pitches in he can come out for more more and turn it loose.

I’ll guess 4. Give Sborz the 8th, and Leclerc the 9th, skip Chappy.

They showed him warming in the bullpen

Me too. I love Josh, glad we have him and he’s a pleasure to watch. Just needs some patience at the plate. He’s WAY too aggressive.

Jon Gray wants to start game 6 (if there is one).

Makes sense. So onto the bullpen. Who starts Games 4 and 5?  Evo and Monty?  I assume so.

Smith and Castro being shown in the bullpen, if either of those guys show up next this game is high.

Oh man I thought that was gone for a second.

Nate and Monty throw 5 and 6, right?

Back spasms are fixable in short time. Max also only threw 36 pitches tonight which is a typical bullpen session between starts.

It seems like teams throw a great deal of pitches to us up in the zone. I wonder if that is the scouting report on us.

Makes more sense. Was doing 4 days’ rest math in my head for Evo. I imagine Heaney gets start tomorrow. If Game 7 is the case, I’m riding J Gray tonight. It’s incredibly important to get this win.

It is for sure for guys like Garcia, heim, and Lowe.

jung and taveras it’s low sliders, semien it’s outside.

This guys zone doesn’t even make sense

carter don’t care. Dumbass coaching bringing a righty there.

It’s ridiculous

the 3-2 ball call to Lowe was insanely bad.

it has been for a while.  and it is for a lot of baseball now.  the zone up was expanded(and in my mind correctly) a few years ago.  6 or 7 years ago tons of these high FB strikes and even curves would be balls.

basically they stopped giving the maddux/smotlz 4 inches off both sides of the plate strike but gave the pitcher the high strike.
