Haven’t been this excited to pick up the Dallas Morning News in a long time. Add it to the collection. The last titles my teams have won.

Man, how I wish my dad could have been here to see this. Biggest Rangers fan ever. I was on the phone with him in 2011 when we needed one more strike. I’ve never heard such a crushed, disappointed rea

Only three undefeated teams left in the major leagues.

Only two of them aren't Texas.

OK guys, I did a little checking on the season schedule and as it stands right now I don't see a loss.

Oof--getting into the Orioles bullpen in the first of the first game of a series is probably not great for Baltimore, judging from its cool 8.42 ERA.

Didn’t think there was any way he was getting to that.

That's gotta be a facial fracture/broken jaw.  Maybe some chipped/missing teeth?

Our two hardest hit balls have been off those players for outs.

That is some shitty luck.
Sweet, x-rays negative for Josh.

Wasn’t that Bradish X-rays we’re negative?

Re listened and it was Bradish who they were talking about.

This did not age well.

How the fuck do you only record 1 hit at home against mediocre at best pitching all night long after knocking their starter out of the game early?

Took it on the chin last night (too soon?). Let's get the offense back tonight and see how Heaney does. Hopefully better than deGroms debut. Glad Smith is okay.

It didn't.  And I had half a mind to neg myself for the jinx.

But honestly--there was no way I could have foreseen that we'd get only one hit (that's it?  One goddamned hit?) off the fucking Orioles after they gave up 28 runs in three games to the fucking Red Sox.

We hit the ball hard but we didn’t hit it where they weren’t. Hopefully they find the green stuff or the seats tonight.

0-6 against the Orioles last year.  Ain't looking much better this year.

Is there a reverse gif of Pacino's "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in"?

Just when I thought was back in, they push me out.

Sigh.

At least the bullpen hasn't been giving up runs when the new pitchers implode early. Yay?
