February 10, 20232 yr Traditional or something else (like Sonoran)? Everyone raves about T Locs, but I'm honestly not a fan of the style. I prefer traditional with chili, mustard and onions. Sandy's fits the bill for a classic (similar to what Mike's Pub use to serve). Black Sheep and Billy's versions are also very good. Surprisingly Top Notch's are not top notch. And the sit down Sonic on North Lamar is always just fine.
February 10, 20232 yr The chili dog at Phil’s Icehouse is decent. I like that they slice it and crisp it up. It adds some much needed texture.

February 10, 20232 yr Rafi's Pocket: Also, Schaller's Stube is pretty damn good, if a bit unconventional. But the dog and bun themselves are spot-on even when they cute with it.

February 25, 20232 yr Speaking of hot dogs, that particular Sonic is a sit-down Sonic because it was originally a Der Wienerschnitzel.

Chili cheese fries as well. Edited February 25, 20232 yr by Pam Cummings
