I didn't know they still made rap like this.  And he's only 23 years old

Thanks for posting. I had only heard "Wishing Wells" off the new album thus far. Good stuff

Hey, this was my thread. Haha, good to see it here.  Listening to a band out of San Marcos by the name of Hognose.  No YouTube clip.

been listening to this british radio stream at work for awhile:

what's interesting is that you get to hear a lot of older tracks from artists that weren't that popular over here in the u.s.

Y'all want something different?  Here's a Bulgarian folk song, Polegnala e Todora, sung by the Bulgarian State Radio and Television Female Choir.

You won't find many more beautiful, peaceful melodies.

Today I'll be repeating Pete Yorn's musicforthemorningafter - released 17 years ago today.  I've never been able to get into any of his subsequent stuff, but this album is probably a top 20 all time for me.

I saw him at the Knitting Factory in LA in 2003. I thought he would become big, but he never did.

Went back and I've been listening to Good Kid MAAD City the last couple days.   Fucking masterpiece.

Stumbled across my Black Crowes and Jimmy Page disc and been getting into it this week. Forgot how great they sounded. If Zep would have added a couple of more guitarists, live, it would have been fantastic.

Anyone else into the band, Sloan?

Chris Stapleton

Had heard of him awhile ago, but for whatever reason didn't give him a listen. Saw him and Sturgill on SNL a few weeks back and really enjoyed the songs they played. Have now listened to all three albums and am definitely a fan.

Great group to listen to while "relaxing".

Anyone check out the new Kacey Musgraves album?  It's getting a lot of praise ... I gave it a listen but all her stuff sounds the same bubble gum country-ish pop.  Lots of references to weed, though.

I've got no rooo  hooo hoo hooo huh hooots

I've got no roots.

Yes...I was jamming that in a Uhaul truck a minute ago and wasn't a bit embarrassed by it.

rigorous honesty.

Kids are asleep and the wife is out with friends so I get to listen to (or watch) the weird stuff I never otherwise get to.
Watching and Spock's Beard show and going to move on to some Mike Keneally when it's done.

Been listening to a lot of Albert King.

Listened to a little Marvin Gaye this morning when making breakfast. Such a tragic death, to be shot by his own father.
