I wonder if Greenville, Tx claims Ben Kweller. Such a clean songwriter...

Been obsessing for the last week over the Crows, a London 4-piece that I guess can best be described as channeling The Stooges, Oasis, and Nick Cave through a post-punk filter.  Ordered their only album this morning.

Who the fuck dresses these Rock Stars?

Would be fun live.

The Doobie Brothers and Peter Frampton do a cover of Eric Clapton's "Let it Rain".  Any kid of the 70's will enjoy the hell out of this.

Seeing him in November, looking forward to it.

Found out about Bully recently via Jason Isbell. Pretty pretty good.

Really like the intro to this. Manu Katche was the drummer on the studio version, not sure if this is him. Oleta Adams is great.

It is not, duh

So nice to hear a great rock sound in the current day of utter BS.

1986 Book of Love:

Conjures memories of the "pre goth" chicks of that era that we called "walldancers."  And this perfect response.

Been listening to JJ Cale a lot lately. Heard this track on Tom Petty radio during my recent quarantine and the slide guitar and groove hit just right. Great album too.

I knew I recognized that artist.

This is a great track.

Credit to Elizabeth Cook on her SXM show for reminding me of this one.

We have a lot of the same music.  Throw some Bob Mould, Lou Reed, Bowie and Iggy in there to mix things up.
