Isn't that the Friday Night Lights band?

I never watched FNL but I think you're right

Posted in the New Music 2024 thread too, but thanks KUTX for introducing me to Holy Wire.  Debut album out today and is great.

Stumbled upon this song from a shuffle playlist, and it's pretty fun retro 80s style rock. Never heard of the band before, but I checked out some of their other songs, and they have some good stuff.

Hulu has Bonnaroo live performances. Teskey Brothers on right now.  Love them.

Cigarettes After Sex presently killing it if you like them.  Several great shows today- Brittany Howard was great among others.

Holy shit, I got this for Father's Day, it is a monumental leap from the original mix (which sucked and we all knew it).  I had no idea how good a recording was lurking beneath that original release:  It was an iconic record as is, but if this had been the original mix, it might have launched them into Sticky Fingers level fame.  Damn.

He's written for and produced some of the biggest acts in the industry (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Carlie Rae Jepsen, etc).

And he's married to Andie McDowell's daughter.

Pearl Jam dropped the bootlegs of their two Seattle shows from last month.

I bought and downloaded both;  I’m currently listening to both in their entirety, reliving my trip to Seattle, and going to both shows.

Tuesday afternoon
I'm just beginning to see
Now I'm on my way
It doesn't matter to me
Chasing the clouds away
Something calls to me
The trees are drawing me near
I've got to find out why
Those gentle voices I hear
Explain it all with a sigh

Walter's playlist.

In 1970, this was heavy.  ‘‘Twas also one of the great cowbell tunes.

I found a pristine copy of this record a few years back for $7.99.  The whole album is killer.

Crows have a new album coming out in the fall and just released their first single.  They are a fantastic post-punk band. If you like stuff like IDLES, check them out.

Holy Shit, how did I miss this album/band.

Dang, this is pretty good playlist.  Except for Longboard.

Honey, are you coming inside or..?

me in my driveway: give me a damn minute (or 7)!
