Today is a must win!  The road to the super regionals starts today!

When is Pierce going to start his best three pitchers on the weekend?

Probably not just after LBJ had has longest outing. I suspect we'll see him on Saturdays or Sundays soon enough.

Or did you mean Walbridge?

Would be interested in seeing younger Duplantier a little more, especially against a lefty like we are facing tonight.

I agree.  See what he can do now.  See if he can field on the regular too.  ODowd can field but his bat is so slow.

Doesn't really matter before conference play. Until then the weekend and mid-week games count the same.

Reward performance.

LBJ was never getting moved into the rotation this weekend but this actually sets up nicely. Our toughest game next week is probably Sam Houston State on Tuesday so it will be nice to have him fully rested for that one. We should be able to beat 1-6 Manhattan next weekend with any of our 3 starters.

So LBJ can be full go for SHSU, then throw a shorter outing the following Tuesday against North Dakota State and be ready to join the weekend rotation in the final series (New Orleans) before conference play.

Starting against #1 LSU isn't a reward?

Good to see Powell at first. Thomas is hard to watch at times

So Powell in for Thomas

I like it. He has to be better defensively and I'd like to see him get more AB's

Wake the fuck up campbell

I meant that more as a factual thing. He'll snap out of it. However, that half inning sucked. 9 pitches?

Those bastards talking about the 1984 and 2004 College World Series.

He’s on track for 270 pitches.

Austin Wood is not impressed.

Fuck this Californian bullshit

Yeah. What has California ever given us? Besides Ricky Williams...and Augie Garrido...and Lucas Gordon.

This broadcast quality is like bad historical baseball footage from the 1960s

That post was specific to the start time/time zone

See this is what almost all of them used to be like. We are all spoiled by the LHN.

But still, this is ESPN. I expect better.

Ah yeah. That sucks shit. I remember the Long Beach State Regional when we would be up until 1 AM every night.

I was pretty relieved the PAC 16 thing never panned out after that.

I am starting to wonder if we are ever going to score again.

That bad, eh?

Doesn't sound like that's worth $10, neither.

Radio-only it is, then.
