I've been to it.  Hell, I was on the sideline for the second half.  It pales in comparison to TX/OU.  They split the crowd at the end zones instead of the 50 and the stadium is an NFL retread.  It's lame in comparison.

SEC requires a certain number of rows behind the teams' benches to be populated by their own fans.

I would have thought that TX/OU would shift to endzone splits to accommodate as well as having to adjust home seating ticket allotment for visiting fans for other conference games.

The SEC isn't going to dictate much of anything as it pertains to the Texas/OU game. That game is a crown jewel in the overall deal and numerous issues around it were discussed preemptively. The notion of flipping it to an end zone to end zone split is as foreign to all aspects of the Texas/OU game as literacy and taste are to Auburn and LSU.

Well since the split is half-and-half behind each bench, I expect any such requirement will be satisfied.

Uhhh... no.

Both funny and true.

I'm sure CDC and Joe C. made it clear that you don't fuck with perfection.

Hey Texas and OU, take your unique, picturesque 50/50 down the middle split and shift it to the middle of the endzones so fans can sit behind their teams benches to satisfy our weird rule that's technically just for home games and the SEC championship game.

If I remember right, Dodds wanted it flipped end zone to end zone -- his metaphorical jetpack.

There's no "seems."

I'd imagine Deloss was trying to cradle Mack's fragility over being booed as soon as they ran out of the tunnel.

I must say with these stupid embarrassing SEC OOC schedules I must give a hats off to LSU schedule.

This is correct - I have next to zero interest in what the gumps think or those hayseeds on the Brazos. I suggest they just say thank you and take their beatings and go home.

Fuck no. We stick to tradition when it comes to the biggest rivalry game in the SEC.

Fuck that shit.

The bottom line here is that EZ split puts one group in the sun and the other in the shade. Our way, it's a wash.

Kinda incredible that as many times as I’ve heard that song in my youth while out drinking and dancing up on mid tier chicks I’ve never seen that music video… it’s perfect for what it is honestly

Throw in a chili-cookoff and you could've had Ted Nugent.

Never heard of him.

This is making the Aggie welcome to the SEC video look pretty solid right now.

Miami is a country.

Am I the only one that thinks its really weird we are having a day long celebration on the day we join the SEC? And who wants to go stand in the sun in late June in Texas for that celebration?

Big mad they can't have access to anything UT related and have to resort to covering aggy and middle school softball tournaments.

If UT is mired in mediocrity, in their opinion, it’s a wonder how they truly feel about aggy history over the last 80+ years?

Finebaum and Sankey and others talking on SEC welcome to Texas festivities going on…Sark coming on…Sankey would not do the Hook’m Horns sign!  Audio not good….must be sec techs!
