September 23Sep 23 2026 home schedule kinda meh - Ohio State obviously, 2 more Texas OOCs and then 3 of our 4 SEC opponents are kinda meh. And 2 of them Will likely be breaking in a new coach
September 23Sep 23 Two years in a row our home schedule is absolute ass Edited September 23Sep 23 by txexlonghorn23
September 23Sep 23 2027 is not bad. @Arky, @Bama, @ South Carolina, @ Vandy. Auburn, aggy, Georgia, Kentucky in Austin

Also, "a trip to Columbia or a trip to Missouri" can be the same thing.

September 23Sep 23 They just said on the show otherwise, they used Texas as an example and said because Ohio State is at home 2 out of our 3 rivalry games are “away” games. (Bad example with OU). Edited September 23Sep 23 by hornbri

September 23Sep 23 Not quite what I took away from that, when they were just now (before the current commercial break) talking about it and that if all 3 OOC are at home, you will have 7 home games, if not 8, total (including OOC.) Same thing that was in one of the recent releases from the office.

September 23Sep 23 Every year has some great home games and honestly only 2026 is horrible as far as tough away opponents.
September 23Sep 23 So depending on the weekends, we’ll have been in the conference for 4 years and have played Georgia at least 3 times (twice at home) before A&M hosts Georgia.
September 23Sep 23 2028 we go to Notre Dame. 2029, they come to Austin. Bama and Notre Dame in Austin in 29 is pretty great. Edited September 23Sep 23 by mdmost

September 24Sep 24 It's interesting looking at the schedules, all the remaining big name SEC teams get Texas coming to them first. LSU, Tennessee get home games with us in 26. Bama gets us in 27. Georgia gets us this year at home so we don't return the favor until 29. Even lower tier ones get us first. Mizzou in 26. South Carolina in 27. Only Ole Miss and Auburn have to wait till 28 and 29 respectively. Edited September 24Sep 24 by mdmost

September 24Sep 24 Well, I was wrong about no repeats, obviously. I like what I see, nonetheless. 19 minutes ago, mdmost said: It's interesting looking at the schedules, all the remaining big name SEC teams get Texas coming to them first. Were the big prize for home games for all of these SEC backwater programs.
