I didn't know that. At no point did Vanderbilt even register in my head and I've walked their freaking campus. Texas has, in fact, played 5 times, as far as I can now tell, in the state of Tennessee. Texas is 1-4 in those games, with the 4 losses coming in 1899, 1905, 1906, and 1925. The win, as mentioned, came last year in 2024.

Not only is he an okie shittalker from way back, he supports the rape of young women and then threatening them if they dare speak up. September 24Sep 24 When the Baylor Rape Scandal hit, Texas made a motion at the B12 meeting for Baylor to submit the Pepper Hamilton report (which was supposedly only oral). The league approved the motion. Baylor ignored it. Texas had a legit reason for the request. Baylor players had an initiation for new players where they would roofie a coed, and run a train on her while she was functionally unconscious. When Texas hosted Baylor For games, Baylor could have had sexual predators in its retinue. So, yeah, Texas is within its rights to ask questions about Briles and even Lebby. I imagine how MSU receives them depends upon the Bulldog’s record.

September 24Sep 24 For you non-rugger types... Rugby scores five for a try that succesfully is touched down. The conversion kick scores two. Penalty and dropkicks score three. A try and a conversion gets you seven, just like American Football. Conversions are harder in Rugby, because the ball is placed perpendicular to where the touchdown is accomplished, so a TD near the corner means you're kicking from near the sideline, thus 5 is not at all unusual score.

Although, I have to say, I still don’t know who in the fuck “talkie bird” is. That Friday night, ATM announced an emergency board of regents meeting for the following Monday. The topic publicly stated for the meeting was something like “to discuss conference options for Texas ATM athletics”. At the time, there was no exit fee in the SEC. So ATM was implying that they might actually consider leaving for greener pastures, which was laughable. Sankey called them the following morning and told them “get right or get fucked”. Get to closing or hit the fucking bricks, dummies. ATM, bluff called, sent Liucci and his cronies out to spin from there. I had two friends directly involved on the Texas end narrating this shit in real time. I relayed it to this board as it unfolded, with a breakdown of where this was headed that Friday night after those rubes played their perceived ace in the hole.
September 25Sep 25 SEC wanted Texas since Texas was Texas and SEC was the SEC. So basically A&M is the exception to the in state rival handshake agreement, they just happened to get here first and who gives a fuck.

September 25Sep 25 Just a bit of interesting info I heard today: The University of Washington has won 22 consecutive home football games, the longest home winning streak in modern school history. The streak is currently active, as the most recent news about the team was published on September 22, 2025, detailing an upcoming home game against Ohio State, with the streak at 22 wins. Hmmm.
