Fong gonna throw out one of those pussy 50% confidence flips picks in again after one of the visits.

November 22, 20241 yr This isn’t a loss at all. My son’s team played against him in 7v7 and he is complete ass. We picked him off 3 times, on terrible throws. He tried to fit the ball in that just weren’t there. Then we played him in school ball and he was ass. I know it sounds like sour grapes, but he’s not that good. He’s been shit since he got to Denton. They will try to get Ficklin from Muskogee who is a better QB for sure. They should go after Grady Adamson at deer creek, he’s commuted to Georgia tech and is a fucking stud. But this coaching staff is a bunch of fuck tards so they won’t reach out at all.

November 22, 20241 yr Agreed. It's bad if there's no plan for what to do next, but by itself, not awful.

Tune in around minute 37 for the good stuff: -they mock LSU and Kelly for being poor, saying LSU is where OU was last year, NiL-wise. -they pat themselves on the back for signing Williams. “Brent had a plan. He wanted one center and two DTs, and he got all of the actual guys he wanted”. “Who cares if you overpay? You get the guy you want”. “Williams wasn’t signed because of the NIL. It was good, old fashioned solid recruiting.” (just like Switzer used to say when he was buying players). -More portal talk. They have Deion Burks figured as a true star, a for-sure NFL player. -They accuse Texas fans of “sour grapes” over Williams. -They exult in how OU has NIL and the portal figured out now. I know there are some guys that can make good, qualitative assessments of players, such as Williams or Burke. I’m not one of those guys. I doubt the OU podcasters are, either. In a year, Williams may be a star DT for a resurgent OU defense. Or, he may be a JAG, splitting snaps on a 7-5 team. Or, he may be injured or a bust. I’m fine waiting and seeing. Second of all, 7-5 was optimistic and wow does OU still have NIL and the Portal figured out or what?

November 26, 20241 yr How's a Salary cap going to change anything with NIL ? This is like trying to tell Mahomes he can't get paid for State Farm commercials because its unfair.

November 26, 20241 yr Fuck ou. Make some rules so we can go back to being one of the handful of teams that break them. Pieces of shit.
November 26, 20241 yr Not for nothing but Lole vs. Williams is a wash in terms of production, though I bet Lole's stats come in much fewer actual game reps than Williams considering how much the Texas's coaches sub. I'd be interested to see their PFF's grades and snap counts.

December 2, 20241 yr The vibe I get without any outside knowledge is that they're doing this purely to get Mateer. Wazzu overall went downhill fast the 2nd half of the season so maybe the Oklahoma boosters aren't opening the wallets until Venables is gone?

This will be a fun mix to watch next year between that offense and the Venables defense.

He runs the shit of his QBs, similar to Kittley. They better have a stable of running QBs if that’s his plan in the SEC Their offense fell of a cliff at the end of the season, curious to know exactly what happened there

December 4, 20241 yr Bedenbaugh is gone, but they’ll do their damnest to fool Fasusi into signing first. Arbuckle, and especially Mateer, could tell Venables they want Mateer’s dad to be the OU OL Coach and he’d have to eat shit on it.

December 4, 20241 yr It seems like they are on a downward trajectory. They no longer have their pick of NE Texas, California seems to be drying up, Mizzou is doing things to the north, so where is their current recruiting base? Plus, the coaching is bad. Oh, and as always, ousucks.
December 4, 20241 yr The ass kicking continues. The chasm between where we are and where we want to be grew a little larger today. I expect bad news from Fasusi as well because why the hell not. Perhaps they can toss the Mills NIL money to Fasusi pile and salvage something today. Edited December 4, 20241 yr by Constant

December 4, 20241 yr Getting swiped of recruits at the last minute by Washington and Nebraska? Low level Big 10 teams? And there's no family connection to them? Jesus, we may own the Cotton Bowl for at least half a decade.
