Evidently nepotism is encouraged at UH.  Three Sampsons on their staff.

If other teams could play like this they'd have most of their family tree on the (coaching) bench.

Houston is just a bitch of a team to beat, in so many respects.

More than anything, Sampson always has his team playing with a chip on its shoulder. And when you have great athletes, that's a lethal combination.

It's the best team in the country.

I think you are correct

Both ends of the court. And no team is more tenacious.

As long as the guards can stay healthy, they will win it all.

All credit to UH. They dig deep and reached a level I didn’t suspect they had.

It was most expected.

50-23 in the 2H with Auburn at home, for the most part.

I think Sasser and Shead sat for a long time with fouls.

Damn, how sweet could a UH/IU matchup in S16 could be?

I think UH would murder IU.

Cool. Based upon what?  Their win against a snotty VA team?  That and Memphis were the only v”quality wins they had all year. And oral Roberts  I guess.

Because Auburn is a joke and Houston is really good. I hate them and especially their coach, but they're really good.

Sampson would like that.

Texas inside players are infinitely better than they were 6 weeks ago.

All of Donewald's work is paying off.

Oh, no shit.

Hadn't even thought of that. Great point.

If Maryland wins this will Kevin & Ralph Willard be the only father & son to coach teams to the Sweet 16?

I should have known this, Ray & Joey Meyer both did for DePaul.
