Instead of remaking shitty movies why don't we remake ones that were perfect the first time around?

  • Michael Knight changed the title to Hollywood has a new idea, Vertigo remake

They should make it shot-for-shot exactly the same. What are Gus Van Sant and Vince Vaughn up to? I guess Anne Heche isn't available though.

Sure, let’s redo Rear Window and To Catch a Thief too.

...they just pretended it was a new idea.

Big fucking deal.

I enjoyed Cape Fear, The Getaway, Ocean's Eleven, 3:10 to Yuma, and I''m sure a few others before I saw the originals. The Red Dawn and Point Break remakes don't diminish the cinematic perfection that the originals were.

I feel a Godfather remake coming

With Danny Devito as Don Vito.  Actually, maybe?

The Cape Fear remake was incredible.

The Cape Fear remake was incredible.

They should remake cape fear with the Mitchum/de niro part played by an actor of color.

Three minute movie. The cops would have shot him right at the start.

Shooting Max Cady right at the start would've been the smartest move.
