Did we just plate 6 runs against a Power 5 / In Conference foe?

After all the grief last season over that no-look walk-off steal of home I very much enjoyed that ending.

  • We need to not play tomorrow for Tuesday at all.  You’ve got them down.  A ranked conference rival.  You go for the sweep here with all you’ve got.  Crush them.     Wipe our asses with their so

Don’t know why, but I have a hunch Belyeu is going to find himself in the lineup this weekend at some point and come up with a big hit. Has hit the ball well his last few PH appearances.

Could be tonight at DH. I like this matchup against the righty from Tech.

I'm thinking this should be a good measuring stick to see how we are gonna stack up against decent competitors for the rest of the season.  LFG!

Would obviously prefer a series win or sweep, but as long as we take at least a game I won’t be too upset. Want to see us be competitive and the pitching continues to hold their own. Tech is probably the favorite in the conference after taking 2 of 3 from OSU and with TCU struggling. The outlook of this season is likely coming to come down to how we do against the middle of the pack teams (OU, KSU, WVU, TCU), and 3 of those series being at home will be huge.

Just try to tread water these next 10 days and find your groove.

Is their entire team just homeless Duke Ellis'?

And Brian austin green

Hopefully O’Dowd makes me look stupid but I do not understand not bunting here. Especially in conference

Little surprised we didn't bunt there. I guess Pierce just figured Jack was hot.

So dumb.

It’s conference. Runs are more at a premium. Plus it’s a chance to get at the Friday starter early.

Is Pierce too proud to bunt?  WTH?

Plus it looked like 1b was playing behind the runner?  Bunt it past the pitcher and it’s a hit.

Daly hasn’t exactly been Mr Clutch with runners in scoring position and O’Dowd has been the hottest hitter on the team besides Kennedy. The Daly line out and Thomas groundout likely means it wouldn’t have mattered either way.

I’d drop Thomas to the 9 hole.

Not bunting ODowd was questionable at first but it’s not a terrible decision. Lefty-righty. Pull side with the hole open.

You bunt on a Friday night in conference with 2 on and none out.

We can get to second, now we gotta figure out how to get home.  Tech 3rd base man is playing good ball.

Techs a little fortunate this far. Two really well hit, hard outs. One well hit out.

Two blistering line outs to the third baseman with runners in scoring position. Ain’t that a bitch.

Quit patting your fucking glove Daly. All damn year plays are closer than need be

You have to make that play Daly. Don't act like you have time when you don't.

Is there no one else to play SS?  Daly’s head clock and arm are not suited to the position …

It’s a hole on the roster.  Texas (!) doesn’t have a shortstop.

Yup. Great 2 bagger. Ass at short imo

Carlson. Should’ve been starting there from day 1. Well, should’ve been starting at 3rd and moved over when Powell became viable.
