Did we just plate 6 runs against a Power 5 / In Conference foe?

After all the grief last season over that no-look walk-off steal of home I very much enjoyed that ending.

  • We need to not play tomorrow for Tuesday at all.  You’ve got them down.  A ranked conference rival.  You go for the sweep here with all you’ve got.  Crush them.     Wipe our asses with their so

GG with a very popular long ball solo shot.

Chicks dig it.

I couldn't have picked two better games to attend in Austin. It had been a while  Last time I was here, I saw Marcus Stroman pitch for Duke.

aggie logic….. lose 2 SEC series to be ready for the Horns on a tues non conf game.

Why didn't we see Burke this weekend? I thought he'd pitch today for sure. He's better than at least four of the guys we threw (Walbridge, Stuart, Howard, and Whitehead).

We didn’t use tolle either did we?  Or Grubbs. There’s arms for Tuesday.

Great win. Back to back walkoffs. Love that GG got this one after the spirited exchange with TT yesterday.
just awesome. Now whip some aggy ass Tuesday and keep this train rolling.

Awesome weekend with a nice little ending! I was a little worried heading into this series with Tech that some of our success against lower competition would bite us in the ass. Mainly because of the opposing teams inability to execute the simplest things. Well, they definitely answered those worries this weekend. They fought back multiple times, pitched extremely well, and had timely hits that you need to do in order win against good competition. Loving where this team is at and I hope they continue to grow!

Also, the GG walk-off and bat flip is probably something Kash dreamed of doing this weekend against his former team, but unfortunately for him we live in reality where Tech sucks ass.

Taking nations longest win streak to College Station

We played pretty good ball this weekend for the most part.  The back end of our bullpen needs to get sorted out though.  We won’t be able to use only 4 different pitchers in the first two games of every series.

Don’t know about Burke but 3 of those dudes are lefties and Tech had lots of lefty hitters. It seems like they preferred the clean up, switch hitter to bat righty too.

I think they just liked what they’ve seen out of Howard.

Every aggy on the planet would take a losing SEC record if it meant going 1-0 vs. UT that year. That's why Texas wins championships and aggy jerks off to moral victories.

You didn’t have to bring that up.

Tuesday games are really important. The goal is not just to win the conference, but to host a regional. Every win helps. Beating A&M in their place would be great.

Hosting a Regional is the goal, but may be a stretch this year.

Not if we keep winning.

Looks like we are 23 in the RPI now. We are on our way if we keep playing well.

Yeah, duh.  I'm saying that I am far from convinced that we have the team to get there this year.  I certainly hope so.

The Big XII doesn't look particularly formidable this year, so even if we do get there and host, I will worry that our relatively weak schedule will hinder us in multiple ways.

I hear they all may have covid.  Worked for Jimbo.

Has the winner or the Big12 ever not hosted a regional?

Last year. TCU

Was the first time in a long time (maybe ever?). Their RPI was in the 30's which killed them.
