This.  We've had this discussion a few times.  EVERY methodology has MAJOR biases in sampling.  These biases make a representative sample exceptionally difficult.

I'm sure Texans will get to vote on adding it to our constitution any day now.

Bathroom Dan, hot wheels Abbott, and indictment Paxton have been making all the calls for Texas since 2014 and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon.

we are run by the opinion of a girly boy from Maryland. We will have no input at all and we will like it. That’s the Texas way. Just shut up, vote R, and tune the fuck out.

Whatever it is, between all the specials and 2022, it is not any sort of environment where Trump wins every swing state handedly. But they’ll keep trying to convince us

Democrat @BSakbun—a 27-year-old former Army Ranger—wins Terre Haute mayoral race, beating four-term incumbent Republican Duke Bennett. @INDems Chairman Mike Schmuhl has compared him to Pete Buttigieg. (Buttigieg did not become mayor of South Bend until age 29.)

The recent NYTimes poll in battleground states reinforces that fact. These fuckers really want us to believe that RFK Jr is almost at 30% in a state like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania? What the fuck?!

Republicans say they are relieved that the initiative is on the ballot now -- and not in November 2024 -- since it could energize voters more likely to vote for Brown, whose seat is central to majority."They just took their best issue off the table," one Republican said

Whatever. When presented the opportunity to enshrine a piece of progressive legislation into the fucking constitution, you take advantage without hesitation.

Well done, Ohio.

Always republicans not wanting to count votes

A lot of legal paperwork on this election night…A Hinds County Judge ordered specific Hinds county precincts to remain open unit 9PM because of a ballot shortage.Meanwhile, the Mississippi Republican Party has filed a motion to intervene and appeal the extension. #mselex

I’m 43 so def way past the ‘rock the vote’ age group we really need to pay attention…but I’m still damn glad to see high, sustained turnout recently.

The Tea Party bullshit got me paying attention to politics, but once Trump was elected with the associated out-in-the-open racism, misogyny, anger, fear, hate and attacks on legit government functions…I now vote at every opportunity I have here for shit like local Props, School boards, etc.

I suspect there are plenty of folks like me.  As painful as it was, I hope repealing Roe v Wade is the high water mark for that shit…dog finally catches the rabbit and it devours him

First county fully reported in #MSGOV: Humphreys, in the Delta. Presley (D) wins it 75%-24%, Hood (D) won it 74%-26% in '19. Slight improvement for Dems, but Black turnout there flat vs. '19.

this is not the type of off-year elections you'd expect with a democratic president at 39% approval. Just sayin

The Kentucky governor's race has predicted the winner of the next presidential election in the last five presidential cycles.
