Can legal weed get to 30 states soon?  I think Hawaii, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania could happen soon, but that’s only 27.

New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Hawaii should do it within the next year or so.

meanwhile, Bathroom Dan is single handedly making the calls for millions of Texans and he’s hardcore prohibition. It’s so unbelievably lame.

So far GOP flipped a meaningless Mass state senate seat (the senate makeup is now 36-4) and flipped the mayorship of Manchester, NH

First in history?

Wow.

BREAKING: In a huge political upset, Democrat candidate Avi Schnall has defeated Republican incumbent Ned Thomson in the race for the 30th District Assembly seat, becoming the first Democrat in history to win in LD30. https://t.co/RIE3F2EiDP

Ohio is not in play in 2024. Like 20% of Trump supporters are just willing to vote for abortion protections and legal weed. Same shit as when red states predictably raise the minimum wage and expanding Medicaid. One off votes on progressive issues go much better than R vs D elections.

Hinds County Mississippi.
Infuriating.

The line at Wildwood Baptist Church in Clinton currently. Some voters who just cast their ballot had waited for 2 and a half hours. I’m told this polling location has run out of ballots at least 5 times and have been restocked w/ less than 100 ballots every couple hours. @WLBT

#468

I've noticed the poll CNN kept touting earlier this evening is suddenly not really being mentioned.  And now Van Jones is shit talking it for the bullshit it was.

It will happen at some point, but for now I'm fine with it being a state-by-state referendum to get younger voters out to the polls.

Hinds County, Mississippi which is 70% Black, ran out of ballots two hours after opening the polls. The Democratic Party filed a motion to keep the polls open later so everyone in line can vote. Republicans have appealed to a higher court to end the voting NOW. Get the fuck…

Nah, I'm getting carried away.

Ohio will now have constitutionally protected abortion and legal weed while even large suburban Texas school districts like Cy Fair are going full MAGA.

The bar is unfortunately getting lower every election

Good job, good effort, Sweater Vest Bitch

VA House of Delegates: by my count, Dems have now won 50 seats, meaning Republicans have lost sole control. There are still 4-6 tight races that could put Dems over the top for outright control.

Reeves is winning Madison county by big margins with 43% in. Jim Hood barely won it in 2019. Presley needed to win this county big and it looks like he won’t even end up winning it https://t.co/MF3zHYQzJ1

This guy is a little iffy at times. No one else has called it.

One more NJ note - in '21 Trump acolyte Ed Durr pulled off the upset to beat the Dem Sen President. Durr recently said that “A woman does have a choice! Keep her legs closed." This race has not yet been called, but it looks to me like Durr has lost.

She's calling it in VA

The VA House of Delegates flips back to Democrats!

Haven't seen this yet in here.

Exonerated 'Central Park Five' member Yusef Salaam wins seat on the NYC Council. 3 decades ago Salaam was wrongfully convicted of rape and Donald Trump took out a full page ad saying he should be put to death. Now Trump stands criminally indicted and Salaam is here. Beautiful.

Yes, please

Consider where things were in '21 in NJ/VA. GOPs had a big night in both states. Two years later, what has changed? The Dobbs decision, GOPs steering into the torpedo electing an extremist speaker, and a rebounding economy. The GOP is in trouble in 2024. https://t.co/St1UG6eVCb

I think it's going to wind up being with 50k to 70k.  Still is a good effort for Mississippi Democrats, not what we wanted, but hopefully it energizes people for the future and makes headway in local elections.

That's pretty badass. I don't know much about the guy or his political aspirations, but he's obviously overcome devastating adversity. If he proves to be a skilled politician, he's got the kind of story that could open doors to greater arenas than the NYC city council.

I think Memphis suburbanization into hopefully northern MS could probably make these off year elections even better. That area is the logistics center/capitol of America for Fed-EX, Amazon, and UPS (I think) and it’s the easiest go to jobs for non degreed Americans.

Im sure I left a lot of shit out, @YGIFSwhat am I getting wrong? Do you keep up with that at all?
