Officiating in the second half completely changed this game. Also going to Allen in the post did not yield very good returns and slowed the offense down. Bishop was pretty bad this game too. Couldn't catch shit cleanly.

No thanks on Terry. This team wasted an easy national champ opportunity.    Texas sports suck.

If you told me after Beard got fired that this team would've finished 2nd in the Big 12 reg season, won the B12 tourney, and reached the Great 8, I would've said we had a GREAT fucking year. Sucks we

Still haven’t won a major sport national championship since 2005. Nearly 2 decades.

Tough loss. Really missed disu out there. Timmy Allen went cold and kept taking bad shots and that opened up the Miami comeback. Definitely some inconsistency with the refs. Went from calling every little thing to swallowing their whistles.

Sloppy passing by Texas too. Just let the game get away. Regardless of the refs, Texas let up.

The fouls and free throws are the story of the game. 27/30 at the line. Why are the announcers acting like this isn't the story. We were in control then the whistles started and the game became a completely different affair.

We were in control until we got completely away from our offense, terrible coaching job

It’s the 50 they gave up this half that was the problem. Scoring wasn’t terrible.

25 were on FT's

Miami shot basically 60%.  Our defense wasn’t there

I mean they were taking tough ass shots until the final minutes… they just made everything, and got a foul when they didn’t.

Welp the shine is now off Terry with Beard's players. Fucking choke job.

Was it you that said the team that cold would lose in the second half

So many questionable calls at the end of this one.

Blocking foul on Allen (could have been called a charge)-2 points Miami.

Foul on the shooter in the middle of the paint (but it was a travel before)-2 points Miami

Foul on Cunningham on the box out-2 points Miami but a 4 point swing potentially because Cunningham was getting 2 free throws on the other end.

That's a 6 to 8 point swing under 4 minutes on questionable calls.

They made some really great shots for sure.

Just ran out of gas against a really athletic team. Miller was ridiculous all day. Can't complain a bit about the season, though. Proud as always to be a Longhorn.

CDC needs to carefully think about this next move. Beard wins this game by 20.

Have fun with rt because this was the pinnacle with him. It will be a rough ride

Hero ball works when you get to go to the free throw line 25 times.

Yea they attacked the basket. We settled for jumpers and we’re just making them the first half. They sagged off and played a loose man defense to take away our inside game and we shot a shit ton of threes and mid range jumpers.

What a choke...we had this in the bag. Not only this game but the championship...we would have beaten UConn with Disu too.

I can't even watch the sport because of this. That's the most ridiculous fucking game I've ever seen called in my life.

yeah. and then everyone trips over themselves making excuses for the refs because a team couldn't overcome the bias, either intentional fix or not.

but that was a fix. fuck this shit.

Yeah I don't give a fuck about any of these teams.

Fuck that.

We were way up and went cold on offense and played tired on defense. We blew it and Miami seized it.

Yes, the refs had a couple of bad calls... And we benefited from some.

Without Disu, we relied on Timm you and Bishop to carry is down low. Tommy is good until he tired, like anybody else.

I will say, Terry should have called TOs and subbed more in 2H to reserve energy on a short rotation.

I'm cool with it.

Just curious what we benefited from….

Cause I can’t think of one.

It’ll be the shittiest and least watched in FF history. Go SDSU

Never started trying to attack the inside that is their weekends towards the end, got cold and kept shooting it from far out.

Beard doesn’t get this far because he choked his wife. That’s the actual reality.

HOW THE FUCK DID THESE DUDES COME ALL THE WAY BACK

Well, they were in the bonus with like 10 minutes left, refs called fouls on us where there was no contact, missed two travels which ended up being fouls on us, only called like one charge versus about 4 blocking fouls on us, let Miami push off to create space constantly, Miami hit their FTs and we didn't...Miami hit their shots down the stretch and we didn't.  Fuck the refs for ruining a good game.  We became disjointed when there was a foul every play.

Well that’s a sack o’ wet shit. Fuck. Missed a great opportunity to get another major title. Still, love the team we had this year. Better than I would have guessed after beard fucked up.

Nah. The game was the same. We missed shots. Go look at the shot chat for both halves... Ball movement was similar. Shot making went away because legs were dead.

I see this in aau ball every week. Teams with short rotations and a size disadvantage get gassed in the 2nd half and the scoring stops.

Because no one wants that to be the story
