Doesn't help that his opponent is pulling every trick in the book to avoid having to fight. Running, diving at his legs, faking nut shots, etc. Ruiz broke him. He’s been afraid to get hit ever since

Against Ruiz and Dubois he got absolutely blasted and picked himself up multiple times and kept fighting. He's just weirdly got the worst recovery in all of boxing. Once he gets rocked he can never get it back together. Hell, his biggest win over Klitschko, Wlad threw that fight away by backing off and turtling up after knocking AJ down.
Saturday at 04:57 AM5 days Pretty quick count out there. Fucking clown. Seriously fuck that 1 minute ago, SpiralOut said: People call him chinny, but he's actually not. He’s not chinny at all imo. He just lacks some of the skill needed to recover from injury and keep fighting well

Saturday at 04:59 AM5 days Went how I expected. Paul runs for his life to drag the fight out, AJ beats him up a bit, and then the ref saves his life so he doesn't really get hurt that bad. Everyone goes home much richer.
Saturday at 05:01 AM5 days Sexually molesting your girl (hopefully) on Netflix is probably frowned upon

Saturday at 05:01 AM5 days Ok, clown show, maybe we don’t have to hear about a “Jake Paul” anymore. The thing is there’s no shame in what he’s done— he started late and worked hard and turned himself into someone who would be the best fighter in most gyms that aren’t home to legitimate pros. That is legitimately cool and I wish he’d use his platform to push people to watch great fighters and appreciate the sport instead of this shit.

Yeah, I think the vast majority of boxing fans would agree with that.

He's actually done a ton for women's boxing which has been utterly ignored by everyone else in the sport for forever. So he should be congratulated for that if nothing else.

Saturday at 06:12 AM5 days Pretty cut and dry. Joshua played with his food for a few rounds just to try to make it look interesting and Paul jumped on his scooter and ran around that giant ring. Which I don't blame him. That was always what he was going to have to do or it was going to be a first round KO. If Joshua ever sat down on his punches and really threw for power like he did to Ngannou that would have been over quick. Everyone knew their role. Yet that was so comically bad I don't think it looks good on anyone. The only winners were the morons who didn't have to actually pay money for that shit. Biggest loser was Netflix
Saturday at 06:48 AM5 days Credit to putting in a good deal of work into the training, keeping the body in shape, and building hype, but this boxing career has always been a scam. He was never a serious pro fighter. It's the do enough questionable shit, like fight old people or people outside of their traditional fighting style to rack up some wins, and get folks to hate you so much that they will pay big money to see you get your ass kicked by a real professional somewhere down the line approach. Easy money. We all watched. Mission accomplished. Props from that standpoint. He won't be, but I think he should be a little ashamed of that display tonight with all the falling down, grabbing legs, and tripping over himself. That really exposed how much of an amateur he is and it was a bit embarrassing. The fight needed one more round of Joshua laying punishment, though.

I had the opportunity to also interview Emanuel Steward, one of the coolest dudes I have ever interviewed, and the one thing he said to me, “you just don’t understand how hard these men hit”. I will never forget that. Paul will now never forget that. If Tyson, or Joshua, had actually thrown punches right from the start Paul would have been seriously hurt. He has to reevaluate his choices. If he wants to seriously go for a Cruiserweight title it will take years for him to even dream of being legitimate. I know he is joking about Canelo but, Canelo would beat his head and body so badly he would be mush. Edited Saturday at 03:34 PM4 days by PittsburghTiger
Saturday at 04:09 PM4 days That was a serious shot. He gets props for literally taking one on the chin. Boxing didnt exactly have a sterling sporting reputation to have lost anything from that freak show taking place. It’s entertainment and you all watched and talked about it. Myself included. On a related note Jake’s former opponent Tyron Woodley took another L from 50 year old fellow former UFC champ Anderson Silva
Saturday at 04:14 PM4 days I only saw the KO and was like oh shit that was a serious punch. The double broken jaw is hilarious. Fucked him up. He's done.

On teh radio the gal on Sirius was talking about it. Said he already had surgery in which they put in two titanium plates and that he’s on liquids for at least a week. Dude is lucky he didn’t get hit with a serious uppercut.

Sunday at 09:53 AM3 days People often talk up the hypothetical about whether they would get in the ring with a pro boxer for a million dollars. Still want to do it now? (nb he earned LOTS more than that)

Sunday at 04:32 PM3 days Looking at the slow mo I can’t help but think it might have been a work. In real time I thought he was tired/maybe partially out on his feet and got caught. In slow motion you can clearly see his eyes are alert and he knows he’s about to get tagged.
