November 16, 20241 yr We moved from Netflix app on tv or Roku, to Netflix app on computer. Haven’t had any issues so far. edit: nevermind. Not working. Sigh. Edited November 16, 20241 yr by Dbeasy
November 16, 20241 yr It is kind of crazy they interview these guys after a fight like that, like they just went 1 for 4 in a business man's special in June.
November 16, 20241 yr I miss the good old days of boxing. In college we got Hagler v Hearns, Leonard v Hagler, Tyson's golden age. Not to mention prior to that when we had Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton. Boxing was the sweet science back then. It's disappeared since MMA came along. Boxing was must see TV back in the day.
November 16, 20241 yr Mario Ranallo. One of the most recognizable names in combat sports, Ranallo was one of the lead voices of Pride FC. Over the years, he has provided commentary for WWE, Showtime Boxing, Bellator, and more. He also called the action for Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor. This is the way too excitable announcer.

November 16, 20241 yr Netflix demonstrating they CANNOT do live sports with any level of demand at all.
November 16, 20241 yr Listening to Paul babble and talk about how he dreamed of fighting Tyson when he was a kid; Paul was born the same year Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear and was five years old when he fought Lewis. Damn I’m old.

November 16, 20241 yr 1. Netflix needs to stop all streams that aren't this 2. Netflix should have charged 9.99 for access
November 16, 20241 yr Just now, dcar00 said: not having a US Heavyweight champ + MMA basically killed boxing. Think having way too many different champions in same weight class is when boxing lost its way. Also, fighters got where they fought once every two years, then pay per view for championship fights was the death knell.
November 16, 20241 yr I'm streaming from a PC with 1gb up/down and no problems at all. Haven't tried on an Apple TV or Firestick.I’m 350 down and it’s awful. I can switch to yttv and all is great. The audio keeps changing, buffering, they weren’t prepared at Netflix.

Then again half their mics don’t even work so I’m not sure it would have helped with less people streaming. Edited November 16, 20241 yr by Hook1997 It’s working live on my phone, tv keeps freezing up. NM it’s all fucked up
November 16, 20241 yr I would love for a sniper up in the catwalk to zip one in the side of Mauro Ranallo's melon. He is the most annoying fucking announcer I can remember at any event.
