Hard to believe this is the same manager who completely fucked up the 2002 World Series.

I will always contend that we won last year despite him. Sometimes when you have good players even bad decisions work out.

If we would have gotten anything from any maldonado AB’s we’d be at a minimum tied.
it’s almost like it’s a good idea to not start by throwing away multiple AB’s as soon as you turn in the card.

What a frustrating loss. Good pitching (except for Montero), good defense, several opportunities to get runs, and still lose. No doubt the Giants will roll over and further screw us.

Thanks, Dusty. Your Sunday lineup might not have lost the game, but it certainly didn't help.

Oh, it did lose the game. Of that I'm pretty sure.

Lmao at Grae batting here

Pena, Meyers, or Hensley?

I would have gone with Meyers but not a huge difference

It's a mental handicap that begins when Dusty sits down to fill out the lineup card and the attitude that a player should get the day off because the team has already won the series, instead of just going for the kill shot. The notable exception is Maldanado, who plays regardless.

Are we sure Dusty makes the decisions regarding off days?

Giants up 1-0 pull Webb after he gives up a 2 out double in the 9th.  I don't like it.  I also really can't stand Raymond.
