Losing 3 out of 4 in the series is no bueno. Need a better 2nd half of the season. Get healthy and make a run.

Whoever the hitting coach is should be fired today. Give up 3 runs and lose. What a shitastic offense. I’m amazed at how we are only 2 games back.

Shouldve been fired a long time ago cause he is a dipshit

He sucks so bad I don’t even know his name.

Would it help to know we actually have two?

6 runs in 4 games.  Cool, cool.  Probably lucky we didn't get swept.

That makes it worse. They should both be fired during the break. Bring up a farm hand coach that hungry to make a name for himself and get this offense fixed.

Do y’all realize we have to go all the way until 9:00 on Friday without any Astros baseball?
that sucks man.
And my birfday is on Thursday. And it’s one of those shitty years where there is no baseball.  Seems like that’s about 50/50.

Won’t fucking miss you. Are you 12?

All things considered, we're OK.

We start the back half with Angels, Rockies, A's, and Arlington.

LFG!!!

Lombardi Jr gone

You had me so confused googling Lombardi instead of Lombard and only finding Vince Lombardi stuff.

Scouting grades: Hit: 50 | Power: 55 | Run: 60 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50 | Overall: 50

One of the best athletes in the Big Ten Conference, Matthews batted just .266 in his first two seasons at Nebraska and struggled making the transition from second base to shortstop as a sophomore. He displayed more patience and drove the ball with more authority in the wood-bat Northwoods League last summer, a prelude to batting .359/481/.723 with 20 homers and 20 steals this spring. With his tools, he could go as early as the second round to a team that believes his offensive gains are real.

Matthews has a quick right-handed swing and the ball jumps off his bat with some of the best exit velocities in the Draft. He has 20-25 homer potential, with most of his power playing to left field. Despite his breakout year, there are still concerns about his propensity to swing and miss, in particular on pitches within the strike zone, and his pull-happy tendencies.

A Texas all-state quarterback after accounting for 54 touchdowns as a high school senior, Matthews is an impressive athlete with plus speed that he uses well on the bases. He covers ground at shortstop but only has an average arm and struggles with throwing accuracy. He'll get the chance to stick at short in pro ball but projects better as a center fielder or second baseman.

In basketball it's becoming less and less common actually.

All the rankings I had seen had this dude close to 60

Would rather have probably had Morales, but if this is the guy the Angels wanted for Ohtani so be it

Brown needs to draft at least 9 more college infielders. There’s a gaping hole for that unit in our minor league system.

I thought the pick was going to be morales

Not as goofy as the announcer
Lol...deep out to RF....barely made it like 15 ft in the grass

First round pick is a 20/20/20 guy, which is pretty sweet.

20 HRs, 20 SBs, 21 errors
